  1. I know this is a hard situation. I was in a relationship that was similar but different. My ex of 3 years was my best friend. I loved him so much, would do anything for him, support him and was a mother to his kids when there real mom was nowhere to be found. But behind closed doors he was what they call a "feeder" and he was trying to control me and force me into gaining weight. I've struggled with weight my whole life and having someone that loved the fat me was wonderful. But I knew it wasn't healthy and I couldn't continue to be with this person that was 85% perfect for me. Leaving him was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I did it. One year later I was sleeved and I've now lost a total of 115lbs. And only have 10 more lbs to lose to be under 200lbs!!!!! I feel so much better. Do I miss him? Every damn day. But I'm now in a relationship with a man that supports me and loves me and wants me to be happy and succeed, no matter what. My point is that even if you can't see it now... There is a whole world out there for you. He is not it. You need a partner... Not an anchor. Best of luck to you sweetie.
  2. Thanks for your support! Still haven't lost anything...
  3. I'm feeling very upset with myself. I'm 7 weeks post op and have lost 42lbs since surgery. But I've stayed the same for 2 weeks. No change at all! I feel like this is it! I've lost all this tool is going to allow me to lose, I'm destined to be fat! I'm a failure.

I can't stand the taste of any of the protein shakes I've tried, I can eat soups and yogurt but that's not giving me enough protein. I've been able to eat babybel light cheese... Hope that's ok! I can't seem to get more than 25-35oz of water in daily. I can't explain why... It's just very hard. If I force myself on any of the above I slime. What an I doing wrong???

  15. I am 6 days out. I'm feeling great still have a little tenderness in my side and one of the smaller incisions under my bra line is irritated. I haven't been able to get my Protein in. I bought Isopure and some other clear protein solutions and they are all way to sweet!!! Make my stomach turn with one sip. Today I started drinking protein shakes- hope that's not a no no. I haven't been given the ok to move from clear to pure liquids. I have my one week post op appt tomorrow afternoon. I've been up and active since the day after surgery.
