  1. This is a great post to read. Does this mean you are one week post-op? I have my surgery on Wednesday and have to admit, I am quite nervouse about post-op activities as I only took a week off...
  2. Thanks everyone for the feedback. I am planning to take it easy and if I'm tired take cabs instead of the train. Hopefully this will keep me feeling OK. Have an awesome day!
  3. Hello out there, I'm new to the boards but I have a question I thought someone might be able to help answer. I am scheduled to have surgery on Sept 12 (wed) and the following week on Sept 20 (thurs) I have to go to Chicago. My doctor told me that I should be fine as long as surgery went well and that walking around the town should be good for me. She also reminded me that I will need to follow my full liquid diet and not lift my bags, but other than that I should be ok. I don't think it's going to be a strenuous trip, just enjoying time in the windy city. Did anyone travel after surgery? If so, was it a nightmare? Any help or advice would be great! Thanks!
  4. In Dallas with Dr. Malladi at the Methodist Medical Center. Nervous but soooo ready!!!!
