  1. Congrats on your 1st week! Sounds like you are doing well. I had my surgery Aug 28. I'm taking Vitamins and Biotin but didn't know about zinc. How much zinc do you take? I'm afraid of the hair loss thing too. I lost 65 pounds back in 2005 and hair was getting thin. Since I tend to be thinner on top I use Rogaine so hope that works for this journey. I'm really trying to get my Protein but today was a little rough. Seems I'm losing weight too fast. Will be glad to move onto soft phase. I see my surgeon tomorrow. Best to you!
  2. It really isn't possible to incubate someone while awake. You will need to be sedated before intubation.
