  1. Do you ever if at all get back that full feeling without pain or is pain always going to be associated with it? For example....I don't feel full when I have my four spoons of food like I would feel full before surgery. I only know I'm full when I get the pain in my chest. Will that ever go away? Or will I forever feel pain when/if I over eat? Just curious.....thanks
  2. I'm in San Antonio too... I was sleeved Aug 24th.....I've been going through the "what have I done" all week. Especially going out and seeing what people are eating at my son's football game and at dinner after church. I think we will feel better when we get to the stage where we can eat regular food. Right now I feel like I am missing all the good things but what keeps me going is knowing just a few more weeks and I'll be able to eat those things too. Maybe not as much as I used to but none should eat as much as i used to. You'll get through this....we both will. I promise message me anytime
  3. I haven't really weighed myself until yesterday....I was down 5 lbs...The surgery was quick...before I knew it I was out. They had to repair a hernia they found. I don't know if that is why I was feeling horrible the first day...but I had that what did I do feeling. By the next day I was off Morphine and feeling better. By the third day I was feeling ALOT better. Today I am five days out and feel great. I've been walking and the only problem is I want real food. But I count my days to the day I can have it....there is a little food remorse because I won't be able to hit the buffet like before but honestly no one should hit the buffet like I used to!!! It is definitely a life style change and I'm only one week into it!!!
  4. I will start my week 2 diet...any ideas...on my first week I have only had protien shakes, chicken broth, crystal light and popcicles....I'm always afraid of eating something wrong to find out later I could have had something better!!!! I would love any ideas/recipes!!! I was sleeved on August 24th
  5. I am in my first week and finding my head hunger is way worse than my physical hunger. I just want food I can chew...my menu consists of protein shakes, crystal light, chicken broth and popsicles. I am looking forward to creamed/pureed soups and I can not wait for my third week...I have been craving cheese!!!! I feel good other than my food cravings,!!! I know it is not forever I just wish it would hurry up
