  1. I am going to try and drink more liquids and protein for sure. Been doing pretty good today. Thanks for the support everyone!!!
  2. Thank you everyone for your encouragement! The past couple of days I have also been feeling dizzy, lightheaded, tired but can't sleep... What could I be? I could up my liquids but it's a feeling a got when I didn't eat before I had surgery... I am trying to eat as much as I can...maybe I'm not eating enough?
  3. I had my surgery 6 days ago. I wish so bad I had a recliner. That sounds like heaven right now compared to this couch lol. I pray we all get a good nights sleep.
  4. I am so sick of sleeping on the couch... Feeling uncomfortable... Feeling pain in my stomach.... Being lightheaded because of the Vicodin. I cannot stand that I don't feel myself right now. I want my energy back...I want my bed back too hard to sleep on my sides and too hard to sleep on my back so I sleep upright on the stupid couch! I'm over this already.
  5. I cheated two days before and I was on liquid for a month. It was like a wake up call for me. It was impulsive. It wasn't even good. I cried for about an hour and a half. I had to wait 13 hours before I could get an answer if I was allowed surgery or not. I got 4 hours of sleep that night...looking back, I realized that cheating wasn't worth the misery. My nurse didnt even care that I had a sandwhich, but I am more motivated to be successful at this surgery. I hope that you don't worry like I did and I'm sure you'll be fine, but food is just not worth making my life miserable anymore. Sorry, I ranted lol.
  6. I am so scared about losing my hair. How long does it take to grow back?
  7. That was very nice of her
  8. Also, explain that your new tummy can't eat much now because it is healing. But that you will be able to eat in the future.
  9. Just tell her you are having surgery on your stomach. If she asks for more info, tell her. She may not understand and just shrug her shoulders and move on. You can also tell her and your three year old that mommy may need lots of help so they can be your special helpers. They will probably be more interested in that anyway
  10. I am sooo excited to get bras from there!! Lane Bryant never has my size in store... Always have to buy online. So excited to shop at Victoria's Secret :) I can't even wait to buy those cute bottoms that say PINK on the butt
  11. Thanks! I was wondering because most weight gain stories I've heard are those who have had the RNY. Glad I got the sleeve!
  12. Does anyone know who is more likely to gain weight back?
  13. I'm seeing the quick weight loss too and I had my surgery Tuesday. Hoping the scale stays down once I move to puréed food!
  14. Have you been drinking broth? That could make it look like oil on top. My urine looked like that when I was in the hospital.
  15. I had some problems getting in milk. Maybe because it's thicker than clear liquids but i was more uncomfortable after drinking milk and eating yogurt. I am able to get water in. I need more I'm sure. I feel my legs are achey because of the fever and not painful like maybe a blood clot would be. Either way im calling in the morning If I'm not better
  16. Now it's at 100.4. I plan on calling in the morning. I'm on Vicodin and I took two Tylenol. Hopes its okay. They were giving me morphine and tylenol is the hospital. Man I hope I don't regret this surgery.
  17. Had my surgery Tuesday morning... Tonight running a small fever with chills and leg aches. Normal? It's like 98.4. My normal is 97.3. I took two Tylenol
  18. Thank you all for helping my worries! I've decided to just stay away from the scale until I see my doc next Thursday.
  19. I am six lbs heavier this morning than I was Tuesday morning! Please tell me it's just all the fluids going in you through the IV?
  20. That makes me feel better... Thank you!! I'm praying for the best. Very disappointed in myself.
  21. I think I would be fine if I didnt tell, but I need to be honest.
  22. I am on liquids and 1 bar lol. I have been since August 1.
  23. A roast beef sandwich. I am telling mine tomorrow. I still need to drink another shake to even make my calories for the day.
  24. Did anyone have their surgery cancelled after they told their doctor that they cheated and had food two days before a surgery?
