  2. Hi all! I am a newbie and am beginning my journey. I have wanted this for soo long it seems that I can't believe I'm actually doing it! I am 31 and have a wonderful husband and 3 children! I have so many questions that I am going out of my mind...lol...I go in for a psych eval tomarrow, then should be able to submit to insurance! Anyone have advice or up for my questions lmk! Thanks
  3. The individual must have actively participated in non-surgical methods of weight reduction; these efforts must be fully appraised by the physician requesting authorization for surgery; Ok this is exactly what is in my plans guidelines. Does this mean I need 6 months of diet or should the diets I've used in the past be sufficient as long as my pcp describes them in the referral? I have got the referral, going in for the psych eval tomarrow, and really don't want to miss a step! I am so nervous that I've missed something.....please help.
  4. I am in the beginning stages of trying to get the sleeve, my insurance company said bariatric surgery is covered but they had never heard of the sleeve! I want this so bad I'm now very nervous I won't be approved and will go through all these appointments for nothing! Anyone have bcbs in Ohio?
