I wake up in the middle of the night...from my neck pain....drink some water then go back to sleep. Last night was the first night I stayed in my own bed. Very restless.

Good evening, I had my surgery on november 5th...it also included an undetected hernia...so he repaired that as well. I was in the hospital until Saturday due to extreme naseou (sp?), and swelling. That was the worse. This is my second day at home and I am feeling 100% better. I do have a pain in my neck. My family has been wonderful (especially my husband in my recovery)...I am not that hungrey and am able to keep down cream of chicken Soup. I am so glad that first week is over. Hope everyone else is well! Beth

Day 2 for me too..sipped too mach apple juice...oy! Lesson learned..they say fart or burp..hard to do either..lol

Thank you both for replying and for your words of encouragement. I will check out that link too! I felt kind of silly posting about the possibility of loosing my hair...I haven't been nervous until tonight. Just tucked the kids in to bed, and know tomorrow will be the beginning of a new journey for me and for them! Thanks again for taking the time to respond!

Hi all, I have been lurking for awhile. I am excited/nervous...tomorrow is my sleeve date (11/5/2012). Anyone here have any suggestions to try to prevent the hair loss? Of all things to wonder about...its now my hair...LOL Thanks! Beth

i know it sounds silly...it was a grilled chickenceasar salad with the works...i felt guilty...it was followed by a few fries...just paranoid

I feel so bad...I cheated today...all these parties for the kids...and I had a salad... hoping it doesn't screw things up I have lost about 16 lbs on preop...but now freaking out. My surgery is monday . Beth

I am glad...cause this stinks! I have the shakes...sugar free Jello..pops...and broth...it amazes me how different the pre op diets are...

ok..I can do this! Three kids trick or treating.... I will not eat candy ....I will not eat candy....I will not eat candy.....ok..I can do this!

I do so well during the day on my shakes and Water only..then I go home and have to cook for the kids....cooking for them and not being able to eat it is soooo hard... My date is november 5....and I am down 15 lbs from this preop diet....not too much longer! What is your hardest part of the day?

November 5th here! I'm sure it will be here before we know it...I still have to file fmla/std stuff...and arrange care for my kids! Oy....running out of time. preop stinks but getting through it!
