Adkins, EAS Advant Edge works great or a whole lot better than without.

The shakes I have been drinking got old very quick, even though I had different flavorous. Tried Almond milk about 2 oz. per shake. The shakes go down a lot better now.

From the photo you look young. I am 62 and will have my VS surgery Sept. 4. I went through my 30, 40, 50 over weight. If I am every going to be my proper weight it's got to happen now as time is getting shorter. If you can lose weight on your own then I would seek help to keep the weight off. This WLS is a life changing deal with no reverse. I would explore all options. Remember the older you get it's difficult to lose the weight. Hope this helps. I wish you the very best. JDY

How many of you tell everyone about your WLS. Or do you just tell people close to you? I have heard people make rude remarks about WLS. Can't decide what to do.

I have pre-op on Aug.23 Then the big day Sept.4. Have mixed feeling, most on the up side. This site is helping me a lot about the down side of this surgery. THANKS for all the info about VS surgery. Jerry

Have been thinking about WLS for almost 2 years. Attended a meeting in May of this year 2012 about WLS at the local Holiday Inn. The people that gave the meeting was from Frye Regional in Hickory NC. I go for pre-op on Aug. 23. My VS will take place on Sept. 4. After reading on this forum It looks as I am older than most at age 62. If there any older people(more mature) on this site I would love to hear from you. Until then time moves on. Jerry
