  1. Unfortunately no massage for me because it could dislodge the clot... I will try the Gatorade thing or at least powerade zero
  2. Had the worst one today and my muscles are super crampy!!! I can't eat a banana or anything with potassium due to Coumadin and these stupid clots... Ugh!!! Grumpy momma!!
  3. I think it's easy to be sensitive and feel criticized because, all of us are struggling and watched ourselves fail diet after diet. I keep waiting for the I told you so when this doesn't work like everything else... Ngma I really don't thing butterthebean was scolding you but, I can see if your frustrated the last thing you want to hear us what are you doing wrong??? The road to hell us paved with good intentions lol. I talk to you both on a regular basis and believe you both to be supportive out going people. Sorry your struggling that was me last week. Btb offered me some great advice. I think he meant it as help not judgement. Praying for your sleeve to be successful girl. We are all in this together!!!
  4. St. Louis is great for that stuff it's just weird to change such a big part of my life. Obviously the old way was not working. This really is a lifestyle change not just a diet. Just need to be better prepared before we go out.

  6. As a big person most of my social life and date nights with hubby centered around going out to eat. Need a new plan for entertainment other than Mexican and margaritas. Anyone else feel weird about this?
  7. I ended up with some complications and but, the risk of staying obese was way scarier. Even being unlucky with a blood clots I would still have my surgery in a minute.
  8. Someone husband died from complications he had his surgery in Mexico don't remember the dr.
  9. It's good so far. my hair is below my butt now hope it stays that way.
  10. 6 weeks out 243 b4 preop Today 191 I was stalled for weeks 4&5 and I gained 5lbs but when I went to dr I lost 8 hubby was right it was Water and I needed to poop. Need to start walking, thanks for all the kind words and encouragement.

  14. Took a walk today gonna tell at the Cardinals game and drink my protein shake. Proud of myself I didn't kill the scale. I see my Dr. Tomorrow hopefully get reassurance and ideas on how to work it
  15. I just want this weight gone! It's making me crazy.
  16. Husband says its cuz I only poop once a week. I am about to knock it down to 400 calories a day if I don't start losing again
  17. I really haven't been walking but, also am not taking in more than 800 calories a day either.
  18. Sleeved sept 4th lost weeks 1-3 then stalled now I'm up 5lbs I have went through all this for what? Lose slow then gain. I'm very discouraged.

  20. They pump you do full of fluids and your body is swollen so that explains the weight. Your tummy is very sensitive and it probably is irritated. Reflux mimics hunger pains a lot of the time. It takes a bit to get used to. I felty better day 1-3 than 4-7. It gets better and you will see the scale move. I know a lot of people who actually gained in the hospital due to the ivs and swelling.
  21. I had a thread almost identical about four days out. We've all been there and know you have all of us to vent to or get support when you need it.
  22. I would do mashed potatoes or the soup.
