  1. My doctor told me week 2. But is it a week after the surgery ( I had mine Last Tuesday) or is it the week after you started clear liquids ( I started last Thursday)? Thank you
  2. I've been married ( now divorced) and had boyfriends. The last one did a job on me. He had a fantastic body which made me insecure from the get go. But since being with him ... I gained 40 lbs very quickly. Which in turn made me very insecure. I didn't want to be intimate with him after awhile bc I didn't like the way I looked I gained an additional 10 lbs and he broke it off with me... No reasons. I know the the reason and this was all under a year. You don't need the extra baggage of him. I don't know him but he doesn't sound like he's nice to you. You may think you love him but maybe you love the idea of him. You need to work on the number one person which is you!!! And everything else will fall into place. I promise you this....
  3. I'm 6 days out from surgery and already lost 13 lbs. Is that too fast ?? I feel like I'm not getting enough liquids in to my diet. I'm still on the clear liquids.

    Is coffee ever allowed ??? I haven't read anything about it. My dr. gave me limited information.
  8. I think it depends on the insurance companies. I didn't have to do pre-op liquid diet but I did have to prove that I've been dieting for a least five years. My doctors were able to document that for me. Bottom line ... All insurance companies are different.
  9. My stay was fine. The first night they did wake you up every two hours for vitals.
  10. I stayed for two nights. I'm glad I did. The first full day, I was really out of it. And the dr has to make sure you can tolerate liquids before you go home. Plus, I have three young kids at home. Good Luck!
  11. Anyone else itchy around incision sites ? I'm not scratching it but the itching is driving me crazy.
  12. Yes, the dr can will write a script for needles as well.
  13. The dr can write a script for B12. It's very easy to inject.

  15. I inject myself monthly with b12. I feel the boost instantly. Wish it were weekly though.
  16. Feeling ok but have a crazy pain in my neck. Not sure if I slept on it wrong. Told the dr but he didn't seem so concerned Not sure how to manage it.
  17. I had the surgery yesterday, and I'm in the hospital until tomorrow. Can't believe I'm not hungry. Had only minor issues such as nausea and gas build up. Feeling better though and just dealing with a little soreness.

  22. I only learned about the diet from reading the threads.
  23. My surgery is scheduled for August 7 th. I'm not nervous at all but feel under prepared. I dont have to do a liquid diet.
