    Hello all, My name is Raulena, and I am currently 11.5 weeks post surgery, total of 37 pounds lost since surgery, and 56 pounds total. I joined this forum with (to be honest) a little skeptial of an attitude. Just don't want to scare anyone

    Wow I feel you I am scheduled Aug 9th and I woke up this morning in a panic,heart racing,I really had to talk myself into reality. I know this normal but I really don't remember feeling this way when I had my Lapband placed.

    I'm 1 week from yesterday too. its crazy how the time has flown by. I think I just hit the nervous stage today. I actually leave to travel to south carolina for my "surgication" tomorrow.
    If you guys are on FB I have a group on there of august sleevers, and a thread here "august sleevers where ya's at" ...theres a lot of support on both pages if you need some.
