I know you cannot wait. I had to resubmit to Cigna but I am thankful everythign came out in my favor. Do you have any idea how long you are going to be off work? I am hearing anything from 2-4 weeks. I am thinking requesting my doctors office to request 4-5 weeks and if I feel o.k. I can always have them change it later.

I am a November sleever. My surgery is scheduled for Nov. 29th and I am super excited.

I amo trying to stay positive. i am double covered through Cigna of coarse. My paperwork was submitted to my primary 08/24. My primary must deniy the surgery before my secondary can appove it. Now may paperwork just got to my secondary 09/07/12. Crossing my fingers daily!!!

I know just what you mean. My documents were submitted today. I am now in the waiting game as well. I am with Cigna. I have heard everything from 6 days to 45 days. I am right in there with you.

The doctors just sent my paper work to Cigna this morning. I am crossing my fingers that I am lucky enough to get a 6 day turn around.

You know on some of their policys, Cigna only requires a 3-6 month supervised weight program. I Dr's only required I do 3 and they are submitting next week. I hope all goes well. I do not know if this will make a difference.

Thank for your honesty. I have a friend who works in a doctors office and says most insurance will approve or deny in 2-3 weeks. My doctor will be submitting next week after my final appointment. I am a little scared but I know I have done everything they requested and more that meet the requirments. I have a BMI of 46. I also have high blood pressure in which I take medication for to go along with it. I am trying to look at this as a waiting game.

I am in the process of making the decision whether to have the sleeve or lap band. At the center where I am having my surgery there are no staff members who have had the sleeve. I was wondering if anyone could share the benefits of the sleeve. I have been told that weight loss is limited with the sleeve. Everyone at the center is a little partial to the lap band. Help!
