Sleeved August 29th...down 12 since highest weight in July...down 8 since surgery. This is the first 12 pounds of many more to come off. :-)

Thx to everyone for sharing. I was sleeved on 8/29, gained 6 pounds after surgery, and have been stuck in some depression. Reading your comments has given me perspective and lifted my mood.

I was sleeved 8/29 and feel the same way. I've read that it's common. It sure beats being hot and sweaty!

I was sleeved on August 29...gained six pounds in the hospital in three days, and I'm only down one pound...that makes me five pounds heavier than before the sleeve. I'm very discouraged.

I've been sleeved! Came home today. I'm already off blood pressure and insulin-regulating medications! Who knew chicken bouillon could taste so yummy?!

I'm realizing how much I eat in the evenings when Hubby is at work. But I am sticking to my protein shakes. Lord, help me!

Today I started my liquid pre-op diet in preparation for surgery on Wednesday morning. It's almost here!

Just went to Macys to get a swimming suit at their clearance sale. So bummed to discover that they don't even carry plus-size swim suits...size 16 is their top size. I cannot wait to get my sleeve...August 29...and end this obesity frustration.

August 29. So close...so far away! Looking forward to the sleeve. A bit anxious because my eating is still so out of control...wish I could get some discipline to stick to the pre-op plan.
