thanks for the advice. i spoke with the nurse and she said that i wasn't drinking enough water and not doing enough exercise. my back is feeling so much better today. inregards to those asking about how much is going towards the surgical fee. well when i checked into the hospital, i was given a form & the adm. representative informed me that the fee of $5900, it was 59 something, was what is paid to the hospital for surgery. so i assume the rest of what i paid the doctor was his fee.

Hi, I am also one of Dr. Spivak's patients. I was banded on 4/25/07. I was wondering if anyone experienced lower back pain for days following the surgery. I have had lower back pain really bad. thanks.

Hello Everybody, Just Had My Procedure Done And It's Been 5 Days Already. Finally Reliefed From All The Pain. I Had No Idea The After Pain Would Be That Bad, Thank God For My Husband Helping Out. I Was Finally Able To Sleep On One Of My Sides Lastnight, The Other Side Still Hurts. Good Luck Everyone!
