  1. Well I had my first fill yesterday 1cc, it was a breeze. I didn't feel a thing my appetite is already in control. On liquids for two days and mushies for two days. My weight loss is holding at 15.6 lbs. Would love to start tipping the scales a little lower.
  2. I was banded on April 3rd and get my first fill on the 7th. I'm curious as to what to expect. I have been continually losing weight, I'm down 15 lbs since my band date. I have been getting hunger pangs :tape: I'm eating alot of Protein, fish, yogurt, plus Fiber, don't know what more healthy Snacks to eat to keep my hunger under control, any ideas? Thanks for the posts, they help me keep on track. denicelit:clap2:
  3. I was banded on 4-4-07 and I already feel like I need a fill. I'm hungry long before I should be. I'm eating "healthly" snacks much too often. I see my Dr. on 5-7-07 and I'm hoping he'll give me my first fill. I'm tolerating food really well. I've gone on to eat a little bit of halibut and it didn't bother anything. I'm down 15 lbs since surgery still have 105/110 lbs to go. :hungry:
  4. I had to lose 10% of the post op weight for my insurance to approve the procedure. It helped me get a clear idea of portion size and "good" food choices. I was banded on April 3 and since I started this I lost my 13 lbs pre-surgery, by the time I had my surgery scheduled I was down 20 and total weight loss now is 33.5 lbs. I very happy with my decision to have this procedure done and am looking forward to being a size 10 again. The surgery was a breeze and recovery was great. Nothing out of the ordinary except the left shoulder pain. My Dr. even fixed my hernia while he was in there. No more acid reflux yeah. :clap2:
  5. I had my shoulder pain for about two weeks, some days was worse than others, some nights kept me up. After ruling out complications from the surgery, I went to my acupuncturist. Two treatments and the pain was gone. I told my husband, I should've stopped at his office on the way home from the hospital. No pain in the incisions, only the left shoulder. :clap2:
