Hey Dini, I'll try to catch you later, I'm going to eat lunch and then take a nap with my buddy. I should be back in a few hours. Need to shut this computer down, as it's running slow as molasses. I'll check back in later. Have a great day everyone.

nurse76, you asked what I'm eating. I find that 4 ozs of small curd cottage cheee with 1/2 scoop of unflavored powder really fills me up good. I've also had the campbells chunky chicken fajaita soup which I put in the magic bullet for about 7 seconds is really filling also, and tasty. Yesterday I stopped in my chineese take out and got egg drop soup, and I tried hot and sour soup for the first time. Very tasty and filling. Heated up leftovers for dinner last night, and getting ready to have some again for lunch today.

Thanks, but you know, your smaller, and most of what we're losing is probably water weight, so keep that in mind my little sausage. You're still doing great.

lindaa, I figured Laurend wanted all our stats each week on Friday, so I decided Friday would be weigh in day for me. I can't tell I've lost yet by looking at me. Still some swelling going on. nurse76, don't do it (the McDonalds) I'd be afraid it would get stuck. That's what keeps me from eating things my DH and son are eating. I would hate to have to get sick. Don't want the slippage thing to happen. Dini, sorry I missed you last night. Hope your day is better. Please don't even tell me you are at work, again. Girl, you need a day off.

Good Morning everyone. I've been in Bandland 1 week today, and have lost 12 lbs according to the scale yesterday. I'm not weighing agin until Friday, then once a week on Friday from there on. Laurend, I didn't have the BM until 5 days post surgery, so I wouldn't worry too much. Especially since you've ben on liquids. Holly Sue, welcome to the Lucky 7's. gladster12, I bought SF jellos, puddings, those packets for water (I'm loving the SF cherry limeade from Walmart, very tasty, like kool-aid) small curd cottage cheese, slim fast, soups, SF popsicles, SF fudgesicles. bun1, good luck to you. nurse76, great job on the weight loss. You lost a lot before surgery too. You're on a roll. lindaa, I do have hunger pains sometimes, but it's always close to my next meal. I'm suprised at how fast they subside once something hits my stomache. It's like instant gratification, and they leave. sandy pants, sorry I can't help you out but I was self pay. I started all this on March 1st, and just got banded last Monday, 7/2. It's not a quick process, and now it's so popular, that many patients are trying to get the surgery, so it may take some time. Be patient, it's worth it. So I have my son by myself starting this week, no mother or MIL to help me out.:omg: I hope we have a good day. I'm thinking we may venture to the park later on. Have to pack some items to drink on while I'm gone. Have a great day everyone!!

Lucky # Sevens- July 07 Bandsters
Felicia, I'm sleeping in my recliner becaue it's easy to get out of and I'm a belly sleeper, so if I was in my bed I would want to roll over, and I'd be in pain. I actually slept in my bed last night, on my side, and was ok, but I put pillows around me so I wouldn't roll over during the night. I still didn't sleep as well as I do in the recliner.

kathybad, I'm great. Almost 1 week in band land and I'm down 12 lbs. Feeling great, gas pain has pretty much went away, at least I'm off the gas x today. I went out today and drove for the first time, and had an awesome day.

Yeah, it's scaring me. We haven't heard from her in over a week. I don't think she's been on since last weekend. Hope everything is alright. I thought about checking to see if she's posting elsewhere on the site.

Chimboree, I'd love one too, I just don't think we'll need it just yet. I'm dropping lbs like crazy now, although it won't last forever. I'd like to wait until the smaller version comes out like they've been talking about.

nurse76, sounds like we had about the same great experience with surgery, and we had it on the same day. Kristin07, I know I have to take a multi-vitamin everyday now after being banded. Check with your Dr. to make sure. I just got the generic Flinstones, and I've been sharing with my son. Start making your list for the hospital, and your grocery list. This should take some time. Maybe start sampling the Protein powders if you haven't already. Find everything you can in sugar free like puddings, Jello, etc. There's so much out there we can have post op, you don't realize it until you shop and take your time. Welcome back cazulay. A week of no cooking for me has been great, but it came to an end today when my DH asked for biscuits and sausage gravy. I didn't mind too much because he's helped me out so much this past week after surgery, and I really don't like it all that much, so it wasn't to bad making it for him. Besides, he's been getting fast food for himself all week, and I kinda felt sorry for him! Dini, sorry I missed you. I've been palying with Hunter a lot today. The child loves legos, and I don't think I've ever really palyed with them, and it's pretty darn fun!! Then we took a walk up to the firestation. He loves the trucks, and they let him sit in both of them that they have and the ambulance. He had a ball. Now he'll want to go everyday, and that's fine cause I plan on walking a lot. Hope everyone had a great day. I'm turning in soon, just one more thing I want to research. G'nite all.

Bodybugg users report here!
Hello all, I don't have one, YET, but really hoping to get a few last questions answered from the ones who have it. 1. Do you type your foods for the day into the BB or the computer? 2. Do you have to type in everything you eat in the morning, or do you do as you eat something? 3. Does it just plugg into your computer and download all your information there. Then you can tell what you have left to burn to lose a calorie? This almost sounds too good to be true. I'm only 6 days post op, so I'm losing a lot each day still, but for later on, this sounds like a really great thing to have. Thanks for your replies in advance.
