  1. I am officially in onederland! 41lbs lost!
  2. Rosikah-I wouldn't worry, everybody is different. I'm 2months post-op too and I've lost about 38lbs. I plateau or teeter totter for a few days but I still loose weight after that. Just hang in there and don't lose hope
  3. One month post-op and I'm down 28lbs...hope I can keep this up! I think I can see Disneyland in my near future cause I think I earned it
  4. I was told to stay on mine(Prilosec) to prevent ulcers from forming. (I'm a month post-op)
  5. Thanks! I wasn't sure about posting anything but I figured if what I post helps just one person, then I'd be satisfied. (actually it's osteoarthritis, stupid spell check lol)
  6. Let me start by saying, this was the best option for me. I have crazy food allergies that prevented me from dieting( all fruits/veggies/seafood and soy). Exercising was difficult due to asthma and osteoporosis in both knees. This surgery, I believe, saved my life. I'm getting married April 21, 2013 and now I can look forward to dress shopping I have Dr. Suh and he's the best! No pain from the surgery itself (except gas pains). It's a little over two weeks post op and I'm down 25lbs! I'm on soft foods, but missing things like pizza and burgers and oh god steak! Everyday gets easier, so don't loose hope!
  7. I would be careful with diuretics. With the sleeve, it's very easy to get dehydrated, so try to avoid "water pills" I would call your Dr and let him know. Maybe he/she can recommend something.
