  1. I didn't read the message u were responding to all the way.. Ya? Is that ok to use DL/BC? Maybe since there is proof that it was in process I'm thinking.. Ya we were told passcard/port or no go .. But surely they wouldn't make u go back!
  2. Ms.Antiband My patient coordinator told us the passcard is ok.. Since we are just going across border.. U dont need passport to come back to the US..if u were to say fly to Mexico or Canada you would need a passport..
  3. I sent off for my passcard Jan 18th and the passport application status online said I should have it Feb 6th.. We shall see. Mine was $71 at post office, they take pic there because they said they have been having problems with the Walgreens pics working.. Not sure what they meant by that but ya.. Birth certificate( original) and drivers license... Passport is $171 w pic..prices may differ from state to state .. Not sure

  5. My sleeve surgery date is April 8th! With Dr.Ortiz (ALIGHTERME).. I have seen tons of good things about him and his staff and just all around how great the overall experience is ( less the pain).. thanks to this forum.. It really helps us upcomers!
  6. Me me me! Sept 13th tho ; / for Gastric Sleeve.. Garcia, Mariott as well. I'll be flying in from Oklahoma with my husband..I tossed around which say of the week would be better but I guess it wouldn't really matter.. I will see you once Atleast !
  7. 2bsmalI have been following your posts since April before your Surgery .. I had picked Almanza until I read further about how lots were pleased with Dr Garcia but for more money. I have researched and made my decision to go with Garcia.. Woo hoo! I'm not scheduled Til Sept 13th so I can save the money but I've paid my $500 and getting passport cards .. My husband is going with me.. Thank you and all that post play by play. So helpful!
  8. Jeff thank you for your post! I am planning to be sleeved in early September and now trying to talk my husband into it~ we are also from OK, Claremore~ THUNDER BABY! Anyway.. It really helps to read step by step of your experience.. It really helps us that are still anxious, nervous & possibly scared.. I wish you & your wife great success! I'm about to claim my date with the $500.. Woot woot!
  9. It is $458 to fly from Tulsa to San Diego.. I'm still debating on this surgery.. I'm about 90% sure but just reading all I can.. All you guys help a lot ~
