  5. Thank you, will do!
  6. I am 2.5 weeks out & I feel the same way! I have tried the Gatorade Protein & found it to be gross. I have also tried the Isopure premixed ones and those were bad too. As Shoppgirl suggested, I am going to try the Premiere Protien clear next. Fingers crossed!
  7. I have such a hard time getting my fluids in daily. I was a terrible water (any fluid really-all I drank was water & 1 cup of coffee) drinker before surgery but now I feel like I am drinking all day long & still not reaching my goal. Also, I have to have my water very cold. It gets warm so quickly that I lose interest. I am about 2.5 weeks out and I sometimes get a rapid heart rate with dizziness. I am told this is because I am dehydrated.
  8. Nina, I am so glad you had a better experience the 2nd time around. Me too! They weight is coming off a little slower for me but still making good progress!

  11. I had it done here in Massachusetts. I was only given Tylenol in the hospital. I have been taking children's liquid Tylenol for the last few days. It's really all I have needed. I was lucky-I did not have any gas pains after. I do know some people do get it pretty severe though. The only medications I was taking before were for acid reflux. I continuously took those and I am still taking them. The doctor hopes to have me off of them all together within 3 months. I wish you all the luck & pleae let me know how it goes!
  12. Lee anne, I had the same issue. It was not done right the 1st time. I am 1 week post re-sleeve. So far it has been a hugely different experience. I was up, moving and home in less than 24 hours! The 1st time I was in the hospital 3 days vomiting blood and very nauseous. I feel great now! I understand that since my stomach was not as large this time, my weight loss may be slower or less but so far I am down 6lbs in 1 week. I'll take that!

  14. I had my sleeve done in April of 2012. Had decent success until 2018 when I gained ALL of the weight back. I am now 2 weeks away from getting a re-sleeve. It is with a differnt surgeon this time due to the fact my original surgeon won't do it. I am very nervous. I worry about the actual surgery. Mostly because I already have staples & such I expect it to be more difficult. I know there isn't too much on this forum about getting a re-sleeve but I was wondering if anyone has had any personal experiences with this. Wondering if it will be as successful as the 1st was oringally. NOTE: I have made the personal decision not to have the bypass as an alternative. My doctor says that it is the usual revisionj choice but I am even more scared of that surgery!
