  1. I'm about 3 weeks out and I'm totally exhausted all day. I know I'm dehydrated because I can't drink much at all especially water. No matter the temperature of the water it makes my stomach cramp. I'm no where near getting 60gms of protein in. Nothing taste good especially protein drinks. UGH!!!
  2. Brought me to tears also....I definitely know the feeling. It will pass, hang in there.
  3. I am post op 2 weeks and experienced similar pain around post op days 3&4. Very intense, left side more towards the back and nothing really seemed to help. It will pass, my subsided after 2 days. No explanation for what it could be except I had a drain on my left and it was thought maybe it irritated a nerve.
  4. Hey all...I'm 1 1/2 weeks post op and it seems like everything I eat gives me stomach cramps...sometimes even water...anyone else experiencing this...
  5. More like flank pain (L) side...maybe a little higher...and yes only in my back. Kidney function is well so I'm pretty sure it's not kidney related.
  6. Post op day #5 having severe back pain....not sure if it's gas or what. Not relieved by anything, walking etc. anyone else have this issue.
  7. Just got my check in time of 5:30am...wow I guess its time to get this done.
  8. Thanks for all the encouraging words. I'm going to have another stern talk with myself and pray that God gives me peace through all this.
  9. Hello all!!! I was banded in 2007 and because of complication of esophageal dilation I had to have the band removed. The band was removed in April of this year and initially my revision was for gastric sleeve, but a repeat UGI showed that my esophagus remains dilated and the doctor and I decided bypass would be a better revision in my case. I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday and am feeling very nervous. Not sure if it's because I really had my heart set on the sleeve or if I'm already mourning the things I won't be able to eat after bypass. Is there anyone else out there who feels very nervous or apprehensive as your surgery date gets closer?
