I am afraid if i ask he will definitely test and what if they cause it to be positive and it delays surgery i was gonna bring my gum with me so if the test shows nicotine i could show him

Because he knew i was a smoker he said it was a possibility he would test before surgery mine is October 1 but i see him the 24

I quit smoking but have been using nicotine gum i was told by a friend if i stop now it wont show up in a urine test but will with a blood test dr. Said to quit smoking but said nothing about using stop smoking aids help

Just wondering about the nicotine test i quit but have been using nicotine gum nobody said not to and a friend said it will cause me to fail the test

I live in the eastern shore of va hoping to have surgery in late September

There is a computer chip where they know everything i have an appointment on the 21 so i will have a chance to talk to him.

Pulmonary specialist says wont release me for surgery because I am only 70 percent compliance I have allergies and some nights the mask is just so suffocating any one else have this set back? Just sucks this is my last thing before we send to insurance for approval:(

My surgeon wont submit to insurance for approval if u have sleep apnea and havent been in compliance with using the machine for a month there is a computer chip i have to take to show i am in compliance.

Ok so i have done ok today down from a pack a day to two today going for none tomorrow!

Ok so today i am gonna quit! I have said this many times but I really want this so i have to. Any ideas for other things to do to occupy my time and cope with stress?
