Hello all! I am so happy all went well! Feel pretty loopy right now from the morphine PCA and my mouth (despite frequent use of a mouth sponge) is drier than the Sahara desert...but other than that feel great. I can feel that my stomach was manipulated, but it's not that bad. Maybe I'll feel different after they get me up to walk but all the reading I've done on this site says walk, walk, walk! I honestly don't know how I would have handled this without all te advice I've been reading on this site. So for that THANK YOU for everybody that has posted about their experience!

Feel pretty loopy right now from the morphine PCA and my mouth (despite frequent use of a mouth sponge) is drier than the Sahara desert...but other than that feel great. Just found this website randomly but am very excited to have done so! I'm having my surgery Tuesday too...and I've been pretending (aside from the all Protein diet) that it's just another week...but I'm starting to feel the butterflies. I agree, we will be fine and it is the beginning of a new life. Just nice to know there is a support group out here!

Really cool I know so many people are out there getting the same thing on Tuesday! Anyway we can all keep in touch on here after surgery? Don't know how this works...
