  1. Yes I'm hoping that by the end of the week the scale will move. I got cleared for strength training so I'm in the gym 4 times weekly. That should help the stall,
  2. Thanks teemarie, I am working hard. I don't have to do protein shakes but I sometimes do them early morning because its easy or late evening if I haven't hit my protein goal. But I seem to be getting the protein in ok. Sometimes 75 grams a day. I am now doing a spinach, Kale and scoop of protein powder morning to get some green in. Easier to drink than eat.
  3. Hello all. I haven't been here in a while. I hope that everyone is doing well. I am progressing nicely. 21 lbs down and now the scale hasn't moved in a week. I can pretty much eat everything I've tried. No bread, pasta, or carbs. I eat everything else. I couldn't do shrimp. My sleeve didn't like that much just sat in my chest. After about 4 or 5 bites. I'm full. I get about two ounces of food in. 3 meals a day, 2 snacks. Averaging 550 - 700 calories daily and 60 - 75 grams of protein. So far so good.
  4. Majique, I just got a lot of soups and puréed them down. I even made home soup and did the same. It gave a tasty flavor. Puréed doesn't men bland just puréed. Try to use hearty soups, high in protein, they are still very tasty puréed. Ithis stage will quickly pass.
  5. I get physical hunger. But nothing like before. It's more of a signal that I should eat. After a half bite of food it's gone. I'm three weeks put
  6. Sandisleeve, I didn't know you were from Jersey. I'm in Atlanta but originally NY. I will be up there end of July. Maybe we can plan to meet and have little bites of food together. Lol lol
  7. Scramble eggs, tuna fish. I'm also on mushed up ground turkey.
  8. Try drinking isopure the liquid, not the shake. It's 40 grams of protein. The orange is pretty good and the grape. Kind of like Gatorade.
  9. I had all those fears. I obsessed over them. And I did fine. I was off work for two weeks. I'm going back on Thursday. You will do great, don't worry .
  10. Mcluvin, my doctor says I should be walking from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed. You guys just have to listen to your body. If you feel like you've been hit by a truck, then you should rest.
  11. Oz what did you do in your workout? How far out are you?
  12. Xojessny what do you get to eat in your 3rd stage. I was the 21st so after Tuesday, I get to try scrambled eggs and mush up stuff, tuna, ground turkey mushed up. I'm excited. Lol. It's crazy that I'm excited about a couple bites of mushed up ground turkey. Lol lol. I think once I get to that stage, I will get more motivated and kick it up to two miles. So tired of shakes lol.
  13. Yeah the hernia repair takes a while to heal so yeah there will be some discomfort. My surgeon told me as soon as I woke up that any pain in or near the center of my chest is from the repair at that it wold probably be uncomfortable for a bit. So if my gulp is too big. It hurts for real.
  14. I have pain if I take too big of a swallow, but I know it from the hernia repair because its in the same spot where the pain was right after surgery and my doc explained I would feel that.
  15. Diva chin up! It's hard, it is but you have to focus your energy somewhere else. Read, walk. What are you taking in! Water? And protein shakes? What are you eating. If you are laying down a lot it will make the heartburn worst. If you are stressing yourself out, that too will make the heartburn worst.
  16. Hey! I'm doing ok. It's 4:51 and I've gotten in my daily protein amount. Yaaaay! Now just working on liquids. I've got 20 more ounces to drink before my head hits the pillow this evening.
  17. Xojessny, I could have done two miles as I felt fine and could have kept going but I was nervous and didn't want to do too much. I am going to move up to two miles on Wed maybe, will be two weeks post op then.
  18. Short, I started new face today was able to have chicken noodle soup. I put a bit of unflavored protein in it. I ate about 2 oz and was full all damn day. It tastes so good and my sleeve was like " wooaa what's that food?" It was talking to me making all type of sounds. It was a little uncomfortable as I wanted nothing else to eat. I just drank 1 protein shake and water all day. I'm sure it will get easier. It's just all so weird.
  19. Welcome Trina and K. Everyone here is really helpful! Search through the post a lot of stuff has been talked about over and over but if you can't find what your looking for, just ask. Congrats on your journeys.
  20. Xojessny, I'm up to 1 mile.
  21. Arielacr, wow that sounds a lot like dehydration. It makes you feel that way too.
  22. Lol. It's funny, I felt what I think was hunger also. I drank my protein shake and it went away. I am still trying to figure out when im full. I had like five bites of chicken noodle soup. I think I was full but it so confusing. I can get in lots of liquid but I know that slides right through. Although when I dink my protein shake I can tell when I don't want anymore but it's after about 9 ounces of sipping. I don't know it's all weird. Lol. I hope t can tell if I'm full after I really start eating food. It takes a lot of adjusting I suppose we will get the hang of it.
  23. OMG I had 3 ounces of chicken noodle soup. I am doing the moonwalk. Lol lol it was awesome! I'm happy for the rest of the day. I'm at 50 grams of protein so far....now working on increasing my fluids. It's a great day! Lol
  24. Glad I kicked it for you Amp, lol. We all need a kick in the ass sometimes, that's why we are here!
