  1. I started my liquid (full liquid) on Monday, the 28th, also. I weighed yesterday, and I was down 8 lbs. Of course, it is mostly water at first. The body releasing extra water. I have a naturopath tell me one time that I was not fat (I weighed about 215), but that I was carrying around all extra water. Who knows. I'm just glad to see the scale going down. I weighed and measured yesterday. I'm trying to stay off the scale until next Monday when I start clear liquids. Then on Nov 11th, SURGERY DAY! I will measure and weigh again. Measurements can mean a lot more than the scale when a stall happens.

  3. I have been using CO for years now. I don't like the taste of CO, but I like cooking with it. I use it for my moisturizer every day. I used to take a supplement, which increased my HDL, and lowered my LDL. My doc told me to show off my results. Lol

  5. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. (Well, in the morning, I'm still on Sunday in my book) I'm a little/lot nervous about be on liquids. I've been sort of prepping - for ex, having a liquid dinner. Tonight though, I finished of my solid food with something really delish. I can't believe that my surgery is in 2 wks. I'm SO EXCITED! I go for my nurtrition class on Tues, then seen Dr. Carrol on the 4th.

  8. I love using zucchini in place of pasta. Sometimes I just slice it, and slightly sauté. Then I put whatever sauce over. I like spaghetti squash too.

I work 3-11, so I decided on the days that I work, I will have a liquid dinner, from either of the lists. I think that will keep me from being in total shock of not having food during the 2 weeks prior to surgery. I'm scheduled for 5 weeks from tomorrow. Got my chewable Vitamins in a few days ago. I have started taking them already. I have ordered me some samples of different Protein, including the

  22. I had my EKG, ABGs, Chest Xray, and Pulm today. Glad that is over. I also got my 2 wk pre-op diet. I have to start it a day before I get to go for my nutrition education class. I'm so ready. 6 weeks from today!!!!!
  23. I feel your pain. I'm a nurse, and the other night at work I hurt from head-to-toe from being on my feet for about 7 hours straight. I was having to move fast to. No great distance though. I have about 140 to lose.
