  4. So sorry you are having this horrible experience. Sounds like you may be experiencing some acid reflux. It's important to talk to your doctor about this. My doctor recommended a once daily dose of an over the counter proton pump inhibitor (Prilosec). I have not had any problems since. Wishing you the best on your journey!!

  8. Goldfish are sliders, they have no substance and no nutritional value...they slide right through. Try eating low fat string cheese and pureed protein. You can puree just about anything in your blender. Just add low fat chicken/beef stock to it. My NUT even suggested that I puree the spaghetti that I made my family for dinner. DE-LISH!!...taste like ...Spaghetti! Protein is gonna stave off hunger longer and your sleeve and the scale are gonna love you for it! Wishing you the best on your journey!
  9. Hi Heather, Probably not a good idea. Empty calories and way to much sodium. Opt for low sodium/low fat chicken broth. It's actually pretty tasty at this stage. Your new stomach and the scale will thank you for the sacrifice. All the best to you on your journey!

  11. Congratulations!! Don't hold on to your old larger sizes too long. There a lot of "non-sleevers" out there that need them!! lol. I too just got over my two week stall after losing about 50 lbs. At one point I started to think I was gonna melt away, when I was losing so quickly but then I stalled and that presented a whole other set of emotions. Just wait til you get to ONEderland, it's a ONEderfull place to be!!

  22. Hi Miss Lady, Unlike many people, I told EVERYONE that I would be having the surgery!! I felt accountable that way. That includes my 20 and 14 year old daughters. I did not ask for their opinion. I only asked that thy support and respect my decision. When the naysayers would have their say I would smile and except the challenge to prove them wrong. Our decisions about our weight and health are very personal and I was not about to let anyone still the opportunity for me to do what was best for me and something just for me. While I totally understand the emotional roller coaster that comes with this journey, it has been sooo worth it. Walk in faith and get ready to be blessed with a HAPPIER, HEALTHIER life. 4 months later and 50 pounds lighter, now they all love the new me and they want to know more about the surgery. Heck, my BFF is on board and embarking on the journey. All the best to you... the New Healthier YOU!!
