  1. Hi and welcome! Where are you getting it done?
  2. I have been on the site for awhile now and I hardly see any men on here. I am 45 and having my sleeve March 1. Have been overweight only 15 years and weighed 290 when I had my initial appt. I am on the liquid diet and have lost 10 lbs already. I have high blood pressure, cholesterol and just found out I am now diabetic. I also have very bad sleep apnea. All in the past 15 years!! So all you men out there please share your story. Women, of course, are welcome too.
  3. I'm on day 6 of my liquid diet and I gotta say it has been easier then I thought it would be. It's amazing how your body can get used to things. I don't even have 1000 calories a day and I am hardly hungry and dont feel weak. Have lost 8 lbs. 6 days till the start of my new life!!!
  4. I am having my sleeve on March 1 at NYU by Dr. Christine Ren. Anyone had her? How was your expierence?
  5. My sleeve is March 1 and I started my liquid diet 11 days out instead of 14. I have already lost 5 pounds and I am not even hungry. I am allowed veggies so for dinner after a whole day of shakes I have soup and a salad with non fat dressing and Im good for the night!
  6. Im having mine on March 1 and just in time. After blood tests taken at preadmission I just found out TODAY I am officilly diabetic!! I am also nervous and excited at the same time. I am 45 and never have been in a hospital since I was born. Good luck to you guys!
  7. Im In NY and having my sleeve at NYU and i had to pay $250 each for both the nutritionist and psychologist

  9. This might sound stupid but does anyone know what they do with the part of the stomach that they cut out? How do they take it out of your body?
