  2. Had surgery on Wed, and am ok, just tired and sore, hardest thing is trying to figure out what my tummy wants, do I need to go to the bathroom, feed it, or what......That and I look like i am 9 months pregnant!!! But no regrets, looking forward to healing and losing eweight and living life to the fullest. Now I am going for my second nap of the day!
  3. Good Luck!!! I am 2 days behind so know how you feel with the excitement/nervouseness. Wishing you a speedy and comfortable recovery!
  4. I have not had the VSG, scheduled for next week, but I can say what you are dealing with has been my biggest fear since starting this journey. I have watched my best friend go down the same path you are on, and she was healthier before her surgery because of it. Please seek the help you need, and understand that you need to learn to love yourself for who you are, and not what you look like. Know you are not alone in this and you will get through it as long as you dig deep and find your inner strength!!
  5. I am three days away from surgery and scared spitless. Have been waiting for a long time to do this, but when I started my journey down this path my husband was with me, being extremely supportive, now he is in Iraq and I am alone with our kids. Thank God my best friend is coming in the day prior to surgery to hold my hand! Any suggestions for when I come home and she leaves, and I am by myself with the kids? They are old enough to fend for themselves so no need to pick them up or anything, but they are in school all day and I have no idea how hard it will be post surgery. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
