Hi!
i dont have a lot of energy either, and I get in plenty of Protein. I've also been home since the 24th (sleeved the 21st)
I go back to the doc tomorrow and that will be my first time doing major traveling.
I'm hoping that with the more movement I make, the more energy I'll have.
I walked a mile the other day, got home, and had to lay down. Felt like the world was closing in on me. It was horrible.
I imagine it gets better with tim
Do you have a follow up appointment with your Dr? He/She can tell you if its ok to progress.
Stalls, from what I've read, usually last more than 2 weeks. It happens. The body loses weight on its own terms and overall weightloss includes period of no loss.
You'll be fine!
I'm 11 days out and I have had no one here with me. My dad picked up and did my laundry for me and one friend came and did my hair, but that was after that 3-4 day window. I was home, alone, and I was fine. I can understand why they might recommend having someone around, but being alone forced me to move, which is essential for expedited healing. I don't regret it. Plus, I didnt want anyone seeing me like that.
Hi!
I am 4 days post op and I get better every day
The first 2 days in the hospital, I slept most of the time. I had some bouts with nausea, but that was from drinking too much too fast.
I've had 2 prior abdominal surgery. I had a c-section and appendectomy, so I was prepared for the recovery.
I just came in from my first at home walk and it fatigued me. I was breathing heavy, but I walked.
Going to keep at it daily
I had the gas struggle but they gave my gas pills
Passing gas on my own was such a relief though, whew! lol
It gets better day by day, for me at least.
Everyone has a different experience.
I don't regret it at all!... yet lol
Hi everyone. I'm new to this board. I was sleeved on 6/21, came back home today
Still pretty sore
I found that mixing my vanilla whey protein with sugar free jello or skim milk is actually really good
I'm just so full all of the time, I don't even want any of that. Had some bouts of nausea in the hospital, but I'm o now.
Just trying to get my fluids in, so I'm drinking sugar free gatorade so I dont get dehydrated
I've been sleeping a whole lot. I hope thats normal.
Anyway, no turning back now.
Good luck those coming up!
