  1. Hopefully my body will kick back into gear. Week 3 i will try to get more protien in. Im not a protien shake person. I need to try to get more in.
  2. Thanks....been a 6 day stall....ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! Ill take slow and steady too.
  3. ThNKS everyone. I had lap band and remember the stalls and it still ticks me off to no end!!!!!!!!!!! Day 6...STALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I just want one of those days where you get on the scale and its 2 or 3 pounds less!!! Oh well....Ill stick it out. This is only week 2 so this may go on a bit I guess.
  4. Thanks a lot. I was hoping to drop a quick 40 the next two months so I will just have to see what my body wants to do.
  5. My concern was healing not calories. I do not want to hurt my stomach. I lost over 100lbs on the band so I know how to lose weight and am ready for the food stage when I can begin a proper diet of proteins, veggies, etc. Thanks for the input everyone. I am still alive this morning so I am over it and will not do that again!!
  6. Thanks. I was most enthusiastic about keeping the weight off and not gaining anymore. Id like to get back to 235 and see what happens from there. I know I will ever get to my ideal weight but under 200 would be nice. The 10 pounds is nice but I yoyo ten pounds at the drop of a hat.
  7. Not on a list...just that its soft. My wife made homemade icecream for a Palm Sunday dinner at my aunts and I ate some. Bad...I know.
  8. Anyone not lose much more? BTW...IM 5'6"
  9. Lost a quick 10lbs by day 6 then nada for the last 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just venting!!!!!!!!
  10. I had the Lap Band from July 08-Feb 11. Got sleeved a bit more than a week ago. I was 350pre band and was down to 235 at one point. I got sleeved at 260. I went down to 250 fast but stalled out 5 days ago. Been in a stall. Havnt had more than 800 calories a day. Been walking a bit here and there, I guess its just a stall. My real question is can I expect to lose a lot more? Like the initial big weight loss others get with WLS? The stall has me wondering. My plan is to be able to eat better than I could with the band yet still have restirction and get under 200 pounds. I know its a tool and I need to work it. Anyone already 50-100lbs down and still have an initial big loss?
  11. I actually was going to just spit he crackers out but when they melted in my mouth I figured Id be fine. I had a band revision to sleeve so I should no better. Im not worried about carbs right now but I will change it up to a more healthy diet when I can eat regular food. I just dont want to hurt myself. My soft meals have been 1/4-1/2 cup. I still eat too damn fast too. I need to get a grip.
  12. My main thing is I feel fine. Like I never had surgery....then I let stupidity take over.
  13. I freaking ate some crackers. They are these organic wheat crackers that bsically melt in your mouth but I am still mad at myself. My self control sucks. I have bee eating in small portions...pudding, icecream, purred egg sald, and some cream Soups. All listed on my second week diet, I see so many people staying on liquids fo weeks. I hate that every plan is different.
  14. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.... Was bugging me all day!!!
  15. Tomorrow will be one week out. I a doing 1 week clear, 1 week full fluids, 1 week puree, then soft... My concern is I have been sipping sipping sipping. Today I got a medium wawa chicken noodle. They just gave me broth. I ate the whole thing in like 10-15 minutes. I measured it to be around 8-9 oz. Should that have gone in so easily? I didnt feel like I was overful or anything. No issues at all. Does Fluid just go in easy after a week? I guess im concerned with the amount. Seems too much to me but again...no discomfort at all. At 5:30 I had 6 oz of broth and 2 popsickles that are 20z each then 4 oz of protien drink. I did feel full but no discomfortAll within an hour? Do I just have a bigger stomach or do fluids go right through? Tanks! OH BTW!! HI!!! LOL. Been reading, I had a band to sleeve revision. Had band in July 2008 and lost 115 pounds roughly. Went from 350 to 235. Gained and lost a bit here and there with band the last year amd was hovering around 245-250. Decided to get sleeve. Lots of reasons....hated band. February 2011 band came off but because of scar tissue was not sleeved. Sleeved last Thursday at 260lbs. Down to 250.
