  1. Your husband obviously means well, but I think it would be much nicer if he came up with a non-food thing. Are there things you really like to do that maybe you could both do to celebrate? (weekend trips, a murder mystery weekend, spa treatment?). Maybe you can let him know as gently as you can that you are so happy that he picked your favorite place, however, you are currently still struggling with these issues and would really prefer to do something else. As for the drinking buddies, that is a hard one. I suppose you could go and nurse a virgin drink for the entire time? Good luck on your stall, I am sure you will get past it!
  2. I am tentatively going to be sleeved by Dr. Kelly on May 16th. I am excited and nervous. I am waiting for him to review my medical history to make sure I won't need additional tests or anything before I commit to that date for sure. Is anyone else going around that time. I am still wondering how I am going to make it through the liquid diet, pre-op, but then I remember that I will basically be doing liquids for a long time until I can eat solid again.
  3. I hate to lug that thing around, but I guess it is a must have. Did anyone have any problems using their cpaps in Mexico?
