  1. You're so welcome! I know at the start of this journey others photo's kept me uplifted, so I'm glad to be on the giving end this time. And God bless you on your surgery. It's worth it!
  2. Well here it is. I'm so embarrassed by my before photo smh, but that was me. All 330 lbs of me. Yikes!! My highest was 346 lbs at the start of this journey, but I lost 16 lbs pre op and 134 lbs post op and still going. 330 lbs day of surgery 196 lbs
  3. Hahaha.. It is an awesome website! I use it all the time just to see others at the weight I'd like to be. Which is between 165 and 180. Happy lurking lol
  4. There is a really good website called http://www.mybodygallery.com you put in the height you are and weight you are or would like to be and it gives you photos and sizes of ppl that are that height and weight. It's really neat. Check it out
  5. I went to Fernando Garcia April the 27, 2012 and have nothing but great reviews about this man and his staff, especially Alma. She is so sweet and answers all your questions and walks you through everything. I'd recommend him to anyone. I also have to agree with the post above me about pain. I had none! Just soreness, but i hear about so many others experiencing it. My cousin had her sleeve done in TX just 2wks ago and was in severe pain to the point of tears. Maybe the surgeon wasn't gentle enough, I'm not sure. But Dr. Garcia is the man! I started at 330lbs day of surgery and almost 10 months later I'm 197.2 lbs. He helped me to regain my life and made everything smooth and easy. Team Fernando all the way!!
  6. Oh wow.. I'm in Burlington count too. I hope your surgery went well
  7. 60 lbs lost is still amazing, so congrats! I don't know what your starting weight was, but I was a heavy weight at 330 lbs, and we tend to lose a bit quicker. But it's definitely tapering off. I have to WORK for these lbs to fall off, and I don't mind putting it in. I try to get in at least 70 g Protein a day, exercise as much as possible, drink 112 oz of Water each and everyday, and I stick to the program 85% of the time. I do fall off the wagon but never for long. I've got goals to reach and you will reach yours, too. I keep hearing that's it's not a race, but Marathon and I'm finding that to be oh'so true You'll get there. Just stick to the plan.
  8. Okay so here I am again reporting my update. Surgery day: 4-27-2012 Highest weight: 346 Pre-op weight:330 Current weight:199.7 as of this morning!! Yahoooo I'm in the 1's. I haven't been here since I was a teen. Wow! Just wow...
  9. This has happened to me more times than I care to count, and when it does I drop 1-2lbs in a day. Normally it takes me 3-4 and sometimes even a week to lose that. So the only thing I can think of for me is that my body is being shocked by the weight loss??? I don't know..
  10. Wow! That's amazing! Great job!
  11. Thank you! Wow..This post seems so long ago. It's great to reflect on. I can say that I am currently almost out of the 200's. I'm 209.2 this morning so 10.2 lbs more and I will be out of the 2's It's been a great ride!
  12. Thank you! You seem to be doing an awesome job as well! I'm currently sitting at 210 lbs. I think when I reach 199 lbs I'll celebrate. I haven't been in the one's since I was 15. Do you exercise at all? It's hard for me to get started most days, but I do it faithfully.. Some days I walk 5 miles and others 2. As long as I'm moving each day that's what's important to me.
  13. I was sleeved on the 27th of April.
  14. Okay guys...Sleeved on the 27th at 330lbs, but my highest weight was 346lbs. I am only 18lbs away from wonderland! I'm currently standing at 217lbs with a total loss of 129lbs. OMG! Let's see if I can get to 170lbs. I'm 5'6 so I'd be totally fine with that weight. My brother saw me recently and asked if I was in the 100's already. Wow what a compliment! I told him I was 217 and he said you don't look it. So at 170 I know I'll be just fine! My life is so exciting and full of expectations, and goals. And it's all because of my decision to take control of my life, and get the sleeve. Best decision yet!! Thank you GOD!
  15. Congrats!! It feels good doesn't it?! Love the sleeve!
  16. Surgery April 27th.. down 95.9 lbs and I lost 16 lbs pre op.. 111.9 lbs total! Yippi kay Yay!!
  17. I remove mine because If I don't they become bigger. And when I've pulled them out they've left little pits behind when they get that big. I don't want craters in my skin so that's why I remove them. I can always fade the dark spots with bleach cream but I can't fill in the hole that's its left.
  18. I have the same exact problem! I'm african american and my inner thighs look horrid! I constantly have black heads there and when I extract them I'm always left with extremely dark spots.. My inner thighs are littered with these marks and I'm so selfconcious about it.. The only thing that will work for us is to have a thigh lift so that our legs don't rub together anymore... the friction/moisture irritates the skin. And as far as the dark areas.. I use bleach cream.. Yes, I know it's controversial to do so.. but I'm at my wits end. Hopefully when I go for PS the surgeon can remove as much of the scared area as possible. So for now.. I just inspect my thighs often.. remove the black heads and use fade cream... I doubt the problem will go away..not until our thighs no longer touch.
  19. I've also taken Biotin.. and I started way before I had the surgery. Nothing helps.. but I will say that I have locs and that I've only lost hair along the right side of my hairline. Not much though.. But let me input that that area's always been a week spot/stress point for me. Sooo.. with me It seems I've only lost hair where I've had troubles in the past. Other than that everythings great.. That's literally the only spot where I've lost hair.. The rest of my hair/hairline is very thick and has stayed put... I wonder if I didn't have damage in that area would I be losing hair at all..hmmm lol
  20. Awesome! I'm in Pemberton. What grade do you teach?
  21. See.. I won't need a butt..I have tons of that! lol but I definitely want an hour glass figure so I'm guessing lipo... A tummy tuck.. breast lift..arm lift and a thight lift.. I'll have to do my surgeries in stages..But I'll do the breast and tummy first with liposuction.. Maybe I can squeeze the arms in as well.. I'll have to ask the surgeon how many procedures can be performed at once..
  22. I went to Mexico for my surgery.. Dr. Garcia.. Everything went smooth and wonderful.. Very easy transacton.. You can talk to me if you want more info.. I believe the price is 5.5k
  23. hey.. I'm in Burlington, too!!
  24. Oh hell honey.. Strip down and take those nude pics!! lol Because very shorty what you see in those pics will no longer be.. The next photo's you take will be fabulous! With or without close on..
  25. I wanna be scuplted too... But that one come until 2014. By then I would have all of my weight off and the finances.. I think we should make a group effort to get it done together.. if we can. That would be awesome.
