  1. From what I have gathered I think people say they start loosing their hair at around month 3. I am so afraid of this myself . Everyone does say that they were the only ones that noticed. I hope that is true.
  2. Hey! guys. I have a quick question, I am post op a little longer than three weeks. Today was my first true meal, I started with some fish which I thought I chewed up well and some baby carrots that I also thought I chewed up. After two bites i started feeling like the food was stuck in my throat. I had to go to the restroom imminently and threw up. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what can I do to stop it, will this go away.... Any info would be great
  3. I would love to come, Keep me posted.
  4. I had my surgery on Friday and returned the next Thursday. I have an office job that is mainly sitting. I was not tired at all and I was able to operate as normal.
  5. You did the right thing! Let me see if I can help I am now 14 days post up so I still remember a lot. 1: you have to walk, this will help the gas (My pre-op diet was horrible so I had a lot of gas) 2: drink warm tea 3: go and buy the Gas-X strips and take as many as you want 4: have some one pat your back like a baby this will help get the gas out (it worked for me) Hope this help. I felt horrrriiiibble post op but know I feel GREAT. Give it time.
  6. Just keep the big picture in mind. If you loose 10 pound a month, that is amazing. Some question 1. Are you getting all you liquids in? 2. Are you getting all your Protein in? 3. Are you taking Vitamins? My doctor said that if I wanted to loose weight I would have to do all of the above and then start exercising three weeks post op. If my calorie in take is 600- 800 a day and I exercise and burn from 300-400 calories a day I will see the scale move in my favor. Keep up the good job 10 pounds is good Hope this helps. -Sharon
