    cream??

I was sleeved on Jan 10th and do not as yet have an itching problem, However I had a total knee replacement a few years ago. At that time a friend recommended Arnica Jell, it was wonderful for itching and as he declared it reduced the amout of scaring. It is an Herbal product. It worked well for me. good luck. Brian

Well, 4 days post sleeve and all is well, spent extra day in Hospital because of snow conditions in NJ. I had a Hiatial Hernia repaired at the same time. No pain from surgery, just some really bad gas pains from anastesia. Not taking any pain meds, just my regular medication. Surviving the liquid diet so far, havnt weighed my self will wait till Dr visit next week.. Please keep in touch and good luck, so far I am glad I did this.

    Any January Sleevers?

My date is jan 10th Dr hans Schmidt at Hackensack Hospital, in NJ. Party Like an animal, because the party days are over. It was a struggle to get the insurance to pay, but mostly because of an error by my former employer in coverage description. Atena said that i did noy have out of network coverage. Got appproval letter yesterday. Pre op appointment at PAT's today. Good Luck all and Merry Christmas and a Very HAPPY and "loosing" New Year

    Aetna Question?

I was just advised today that I was approved by Aetna. Had to do six months with nutritionalist, and did have two year weight history. VSG date jan 10th. Next Ill have to fight about coinsurance because I am now heading into new year. I was stalled because they said I did not have out of network coverage, and had to appeal with my employer and my labor contract. Having read the success stories I cant wait.
  8. I am finely finishing the battle with the insurance company and my employer regarding coverage for out of network. I now have a date of Jan10th and cant weight. I have Aetna and they made me jump thru hoops my current weight is 323. I looks a bit scary but it will be all for the best. Just got a copy of the Weight Loss surgery cookbook for dummies. Loooks like a great book to have. To all those waiting for the big day GOOD LUCK and Merry Christmas
  9. PreOp diet, my surgeon and Nutritionalist hasnt said anything about a liquid diet. Just told me to try to loose some weight and exercise for lung capacity, Did I miss something?
