  1. It has been less than 1 month since my surgery and I have just started mushy meals 5 days ago. So far, I am finding that it only takes a few bites and I am full, but have had the "head hunger" thinking I am forgetting to do something, make something and feel "what would I like?". This is all so new to me and I hope to learn from all of you, but the "head hunger" caught my eye. The lap band did nothing for me and also left behind a lot of damage. I am praying everyday, that I will continue to have this feeling of being full and get on with life and not focus on food.
  2. My surgery was 9/15/10 and lasted about 2 1/2 hours by Dr. Halmi, Bluepointe Surgical Group @ Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, Virginia.
