Nature's Best Isopure Protein Drinks
It has been 4 days post op and I have yet to hit my 60 grams of protein. I have been sipping on Isopure every chance I get. I can't say I love the stuff but it's okay, and it is what my doctor recommends.

So how are you doing now? This is my 4th day and I had a suprise hiatal hernia also, I do not think I had fever but when I take a drink I can feel that it is sore going into my stomach? Was it hard for you to get all of your protein and vitiamins in?

vertical sleeve with a suprised hiatal hernia surgery
It has been 4 days since my surgery, my tummy is sore, I've been walking some everyday. The Doc told my family that I had a large stomach and he had fix my hiatal hernia, which to me was a suprise that I had one. It's been real hard to make myself drink fluids, just not hungry or thirsty, and it has been a real challange to get all of my vitamins in everyday. Each day is getting better. Today my family and I are going to a movie, I really think it will help me to get out of the house and get my mind on something else.

Surgery Tommorrow
Well tommorrow morning I will have my surgery, I can't say, I am excited about the surgery, but knowing that I have made a big step towards accomplishing a healthier lifestyle and will be receiving the tool that will really help me, that makes me excited. I have been on a liquid diet and for the last two days Clear liquids. I have already learned that the more Water I drink the better I feel, the better my body is functioning (no constipation) Have you heard of a fat person being dehydarated? I guess that was me. I feel that I am beginning a journey towards beating my bad food habits. I am determined to follow the doctor's. nutritionistist, and physical education instructor's instructions. I have been taking bariatric multivitiams, Extra B vitiamins, Iron, C, D-3, and Calcium. I been using a medication organizer to seperate the Vitamins where I take 2 at a time. This week I have biked, swim, and walked. (lost about 7 pounds) I've cleaned my house today and look forward to coming home after the hospital, healing and one step at a time becoming the healthy person that I was meant to be.

Swimsuit Addition Prior to Sleeve
I am scheduled for sleeve surgery on 06/16, I have been overweight all of my life. My daughter had the lap band surgery on 05/25 and she has lost 14 pds to date. My work requires alot of travel and it would be really hard for me to schedule fills, so I decided the sleeve would be the right fit for me. I have tried everything Nutrisystem, Diet Doctors, Weight Watchers, cabbage soup, you name it I've been riding the diet rollercoaster since I was 6 years old. That's the past... I will not turn back I am headed for success!
