  1. Thank you (((Tina))) WTG on your success too!
  2. Thanks again! I am very proud of myself. I'm now teaching water aerobics to some friends of mine called Carrie's Aqua Bootcamp. Tonight was the first official class I taught and it was awesome!
  3. Thanks again everyone! But today I'm even more excited, I made it to twoterville weighing in @ 298!!!!! I haven't been in the 200's since 06!
  4. (((Tif))) you are amazing and look so awesome! I love that sleek new outfit! Go hottie! Congrats again to you! What an inspiration you are!
  5. I had my surgery done by Dr Gary Stephens in Lafayette, LA. It was painless and I was home the next day and I'm feeling so good right now. What led me to have surgery is that I have arthiritis in both knees and tore the meniscus in my left knee. Since dropping some of the weight, my knees have been pain free. I have always been a slave to the scale but I do believe in meausuring my successes in other ways so that scale won't discourage me
  6. Thanks everyone! I'm so looking forward to this continued journey!
  7. ((((Anna)))) same to you lady and we'll see. Curves says I'm down 81.2 but someone had to goof that up cuz my home scale is playing between 68-70. I can't wait till I see the dr on 6/14 to get official WI!
  8. Hi friends! I don't think I've ever posted since I've had surgery on 3/25. Actually I just haven't been online lately but I rec'd a message requesting an update so here it is. I'm doing well. I'm down 59.5 inches so far and 70 lbs. I'm so flipping happy. However, I don't keep many food items down but I guess that's to be expected but I do have a few things that I just choose to eat more often then others that I can handle better. I'm serving in a wedding in NJ on July 10th. I actually purchased my dress on 2/25 without knowing that I was going to have surgery that soon and of course it's going to have to be taken in. I go for my first fitting on 6/8. Here are the pics. Pre-surgery on 3/25 I picked up my dress on 4/15 I tried the dress on today for shits and giggles and I'm pleasantly surprised! I have a long way to go but I'm going to keep on going. I do work out 6 days a week and I'm feeling great!!!!!
  9. I texted with her this morning. She said she can't stop throwing up. Please keep her in your prayers. I got out yesterday and I'm resting at home. I'm so tired and drained but so glad it's over
  10. ((((Kelly and Kat)))) I can't believe tomorrow is the big day. I'm so excited and I will tell you guys all about it!!! I know this is the right thing for me to do!!!!
  11. Tomorrow is the big day.......SQUEE!!!!! I made a batch of chicken broth to have on hand when I get home and just had some for lunch! I didn't post yesterday but I saw my Dr yesterday and I'm down 16 lbs and all of my bloodwork was normal (thank God) my bp was 128/84, my EKG was clear and chest xray was fine. He told me for my size that I'm a really heathly girl. Well I haven't been working out for the past 5 yrs for nothing and eating healthy for the most part. I just suck at keeping the weight off but this time I WILL keep it off! Good luck to Anna and others who are getting sleeved tomorrow. I have been including all of you in my prayers @ night.
  12. (((Kat))) Hey chica! Nice to see someone I *know* Yep I got my eye on the prize and ready for this!

Oh and Tif I have a "food list" and mine is similiar to yours. Thanks for sharing:thumbup1:

  16. I know girl I've been cleaning and starting to pack too but I'm not taking much with me as I'm not going very far.......LOL I think the same thing I wear is the same thing I'm coming home in. I will text you or vice vera I guess that evening if feeling up to it! I'm so glad we've met and doing it the same day. I seriously CANNOT wait!!
  17. 3 more days and I just can't wait! I got on my friend's scale last night I believe I'm down another 6 lbs. I'll find out officially tomorrow when I go see Dr Stephens one more time before surgery on Thursday. I'm so ready for this life changing experience. I wonder what I'll look like as a skinny person??
  18. Even things that don't typically look or sound good to me, now look very appealing! We can do this! Girl I hate Chinese food and my hubby and kids got it the other night and I was ready to eat that even though I hate it........LOL Yep we can do this! Good luck on your surgery!!!
  19. Tif I'm so thankful to hear that! I had a great day staying on the preop diet today too! Thank God!!!
  20. I have been on this liquid diet since 3/11. However, I broke down last night and snuck a piece of pizza:frown1: My 12 yr old son had 4 of his friends sleep over last night. My hubby and I picked them all up and ran a few errands which included me getting my protien shake for dinner. At any rate, he picked up 4 pizzas from Little Caesars for the boys and my other son as well as Taco Bell for himself. I'm stuck in the car smelling all of that. I literally cried when I got home because I asked the kids to hurry up and eat it and well they didn't. They were running around playing outside and cutting up. Well my hubby left to go to the store and the kids were playing. I snuck into the pizza box and wolved down 1 small piece. It was driving me insane. It's out of my head now but I sure hope this doesn't mess me up for surgery. I have done so well until that 1 piece. I'm over cravings and whatnot but I needed to type this out. If you read to the end, thanks for listening.
