I am waiting till Aug or Sept next yr to get mine done. Anyone else going 2 wait till about then that wants to chat and encourage each other untill then?

Booklean, how are you doing now that your 2 months out? I was thinking about going to mexico to have mine sometime next year but I have always wanted to travel. How much was your surgery and flight? Did you go alone?

How many of you all have become friends on this site and in real life?? Gone from chatting to meeting? I still have a yr or more be 4 I do my surgery and wanted to see how many are friends.

Cammy, Thanks for your input! I think I'm gonna just do this one surrogacy and have the surgery. I'm gonna have another baby of my own but not for a few more years so that might be better on my body to wait. I always read that the bypass you shouldn't have babies cuz you won't get everything you need, but you can get most of what you need once you are stable in your wt after sleeve. As for the meds, my insurance covers all meds with $25 dollor copay. And if they wouldn't pay for extra ultrasounds then I could get them free at the clinic I work at. I'm a nurse that works with OB and family practice doctors and we do sono's in the office. But like you said I don't think I would risk it either! So I'm not going to do surrogacy after sleeve. I have had few Surrogacy Agency's say its fine after 18mns, but I'm not going to risk it for a family that's already spent enough to get to surrogacy. Thanks for your input girl! I totally understand where your coming from! I have lots to lose and hate it.! I'm going to do strict diet for a surrogacy that I'm fixng to do and then I'm going to mexico next year to get sleeved! Wow! I thought I was the only one! I'm one of the happiest ppl you will meet, but if you got a look inside my head you would be running! Its what diet will I do this wk, I know I can handle no carb this time, new diet pill!, new work out video!, and so on. Glad to know I'm not the only one! I think as long as you are doing it for ur self then who cares what others think! I hope your all "big losers" soon! Congrats to those who are already! Krystl

Dee dee, You look wonderful! I'm at the same exact size now that you started at! It let's me know there are others with my body type that can do it!
