  1. Hi, I was where you are 1 month ago and am now 2 weeks post-op. What you describe is the same for all of us who get close to the big day. The demons on the shoulder will always give you doubts and fears. Human nature means you will spend some time listening to these negatives but as you describe you KNOW the positives far outweigh these. Focus on the postives during you pre-op diet and very soon, like me and many others on the forum, you'll be writing supportive posts to pre-oppers! Good luck and report back. Craig
  2. Really interesting. Always knew about diet stalls but now understand the chemistry behind it. My current stall 2 weeks post op now seems perfectly natural and nothing to get depressed about.
  3. Hi barbann, I followed the advice on the forum and took all the suggested things (comfy clothes, lip balm, Water spray etc) and found them all useful during my hospital stay. Nerves are perfectly natural and it would be surprising if you didn't have them..... but I'm sure you're equally excited about the op. Focus on the positives. That really helped me 2 weeks ago. See you on the losing side. Best Wishes Craig
  4. Hello to all, Was sleeved here in the UK 2 weeks ago. Used this forum as a great source of information before my op and have finally go around to joining and posting..... Thanks Craig
