  1. Can someone tell me how to put my ticker on? I thought I put it on but I didn't.
  2. Thanks for your responses. SF popsicles have definitely become my best friend. They sent me home with liquid lortab for pain and the only way I can tolerate drinking it is with a popsicle. Decaf tea has become my best friend as well. Trying to get in enough water as I tend to have the dry mouth throughout the night. I keep water beside my bed.
  3. I had my sleeve done on Monday and went home Tuesday night. When I woke up from surgery I was in severe pain from the surgery and the gas. I felt the gas trapped in my chest. However, it's a little better but I am scared to drink a lot. I had an upper GI done the morning before I left and they had my sipping and swallowing and I felt horrible. I felt it trapped in my chest. I have been having a hard time eating because I do not eat soup or broth. The only thing I ate in the hospital was a sugar free popsicle. I am trying to stay hydrated. Any suggestions. I am also still fighting with the gas.
  4. I am trying to make it through day 1 and I am having a hard time as well. Chicken broth smells disgusting to me and I can't bare to drink it. I have had 2 shakes today and some sugar free jello. This is pure agony.
  5. Cajun. I appreciate the realism. I needed that dose of reality. I think I will be fine with the liquid diet.
  6. Hello, I am scared as well. When I rec'd the letter from the insurance company stating I was approved I got very nervous and scared. The doctor's office called me this morning to schedule my surgery. I am having surgery on 11/30/09 and going to start my liquid diet on 11/16/09. I have to order my pre op kit asap.
  7. I am going to have my sleeve on 11/30/09 and have to go on the liquid diet for 2 weeks. I don't know how I am going to do liquid for 2 weeks straight.
