  2. EVERYONE is lookN MAGNIFICENT!!! Sleeve life is a GOOD LIFE!!!
  3. Agreed!!! Thank you Alex!! I also want to thank each individual poster here, because without all of us - all of these websites would not be as successful. I personally don't think I could've reached my goal without all this excellent support.
  4. Thanks!! Good luck on your search. It is a great benefit, getting the final touches.
  5. If you get it, be sure to get the little popcorn kits too! They have the butter/popcorn/salt and the box has 5 kits in it. MMmmmMMM!!! Not sure what they put in it, but I'm a movie popcorn connoiseur and it tastes EXACTLY like it!!! Okay, I just love popcorn, period.
  6. Sounds good! I'm glad the issue wasn't too serious. I'm sure continuing your breathing apparatus with the Prevacid will help. Yayyyy!!! Congrats on the weight loss so early out!!!
  7. Ohhhhh you have just made me think of Piroshki's!!! Mmmmm... I need to go find me some! Those look amazing too!!!
  8. I like looking at good food with the best of em... but this show is just too much for me!! LOL The sleeve is a wonderful tool.. you will be able to eat all of these foods once again. Anything you can think of. So dreaming of the day when you can again is fine! You won't have to miss it forever. I do love my sleeve!!!
  9. For my supplement Protein, yes I use the bariatric powders (unjury and Bariatric Fusion). But I do mix it with RTD EAS CarbAdvantage or Adkins shakes, which are not. I can get away with using only half scoop making the tub last twice as long. I've just been using these so long I don't go anywhere else. They taste good too and like the way they make me feel. I was getting my Calcium chews from Bariatric Advantage but don't need to anymore since I can swallow whole pills now.
  10. Oh yeah they are wonderful... why I don't eat them a lot... LOL! Also why I only eat them in my yogurt so I get a little too full to eat more than I should. Anything in moderation!
  11. That is fabulous darling!!! Nothings going to stop you, you just keep doing good and rocking your WORLD!
  12. CONGRATS!!! A whole new YOU!!! You look very happy and very healthy!! Sleeve life ROCKS!!!
  13. Hi there! Unfortunately I don't have an answer for this specific area, tummy tuck. I haven't done that yet. I've only had breast augmentation and liposuction. If you're interested in either of those, I'm happy to recommend my surgeons. They are A+!!! However I do think my breast Doctor does skin removals and tummy tucks. He might be worth looking in to. He is in the Folsom Area. Let me know! Good luck finding someone! Only choose the surgeon if you trust their work 100%.
  14. My nurses removed my drains the day before I left Mexicali. I'm not sure about any other Doctors, hopefully someone can address that. My PCP has been such a blessing through all this and she just loves to see me melt away and is on board with all of this. She orders all my labs and has acted as my Post Op physician, nothing out of pocket except my co pays. Good luck!!
  15. WELCOME TO THE LOSERS BENCH!!! Pain is normal, but if it gets too bad be sure to bring this up. Being in bad pain is not necessary. Sending you healing prayers!!!
  16. I've eaten it a few times. I add it to my yogurt if I get tired of adding granola. It's not stopped me from hitting all my goals. However, to each his or her own! I like them a lot. However, I don't eat them a lot either.
  17. Okay, confession time... I bought my Mom the Whirley Pop, stove top Popcorn maker. It's claim is that (using the popcorn kits) your popcorn will come out tasting exactly like Movie Theater popcorn. Well, I can tell you it's no lie. It does... hahaaa!! Anyway, the confession is, I invested a little of that gift in me too. And my favorite microwave popcorn is Pop Secret JUMBO POP... OMGGG that stuff is DEEE LISHUSSS!! ETA: I just want everyone out there to note this... Popcorn is a slider food. Early out you won't be able to eat very much but as our stomachs heal you will definitely be able to eat just as much as you ever could. That out of the way... ENJOY!!! I know I do.
  18. I waited a good long while.. probably 6 months. I do love popcorn! I really have to monitor my intake. It's a slider and I REALLY can chow down on it BIG TIME...
  19. Excellent topic Rootman! I agree, your 2011 was very kind to you! You've kicked butt, no doubt. For me 2011 was one of the best years of my life! I have hit all my goals that I set out for myself and many personal ones as well that I don't really share out on the world wide web. I'm very very happy today as a result. Life's not perfect, nor should it ever be because we will never grow that way. But, it's perfect enough for me. Noteworthy milestones for me in 2011: Fitted my Size 8's Fitted my Size 4's Fitted my Size 0's Fit tops sizes XS My health is better than it has ever been I can run right along side the best of em! My Body Fat % has gone from morbidly obese to normal!!! I had 2 wonderful plastic surgeries and the results have blown me away!!! Best of all, I have found myself in all of this. I have conquered the demons that have plagued me for so long, and I have found GOD once again. Blessings to all in the coming New Year!!!
  20. Hi there KDB!! Welcome to posting on this site! It's people like you who keep chiming in with your experiences that keep this forum alive and kicking!! Wishing you the best on your surgery! The weeks will fly by - has for pretty much all of us.
  21. If you are experiencing light headedness, its best to seek out your Surgeons advice. I hope everything is OK!! Let us know...
  22. You've probably already checked in, just wanted to stop by and wish you well! Speedy recovery, and don't forget to come back and let us know how everything went. Whoohooo!!! Your new life begins in just a few short hours.
  23. It could be part of the ketosis. Your body is rebelling! It's missing the sugar. Then again, are you lactose intolerant? Sometimes milk doesn't work too well with our gastric systems. I'm more betting on the blood sugar response though. HTH And great job, and great attitude! All of this will be worth it in the end - no doubt.
