  1. I am about 3 weeks post op, and I am feeling really discouraged. I am not losing weight the way I thought I would. I lost 13 pounds in the pre op diet, but in the last 3 weeks since my surgery (Sept 19th), I have only lost 10 pounds. What am I doing wrong? I follow the diet to a T, but expected to have lost a little more by now. Would love to here others thoughts and opinions. Thank you!
  2. I also had my surgery Sept 19th. I am not ready to brave the venturing out to eat yet being on the mushy phase. I know the day will come soon, but I would like to get past the mushy phase first. Keep up the great work!
  3. Hey there! I am in the southwest suburbs. Morris to be exact. Just had my surgery on Sept 19th! Would love to be support buddies!
  4. My family is having a big family dinner out at Chilis tonight. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago, and I am in the soft phase of proteins. Any suggestions of what I can eat while out at Chilis?? Please help!!
  5. I just had surgery less than 2 weeks ago, so I understand your "blues". I feel it too! However, I am surprised to learn what everyone eats. My dr told me NO carbs for a couple months. Strictly protein. I have a week by week schedule to follow, and carbs are not allowed for me for awhile. It just shows how different all doctors are. We will all get through this!
