Hello. Has anyone ever experienced diarrhea and a rumbling tummy after a fill? This is been ongoing for 3 weeks now. I'm going back to my doctor Tuesday but just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar problem.

No, they don't know why it's leaking, and actually can't find the leak, so it must be very small. I went for a procedure where the injected dye to find the leak, but my doctor didn't see anything. He filled me with 2.5 cc'd and when I went back 2 weeks later, I only had 1 cc. So I then went for an endoscopy to make sure the lining around the band was ok, all is ok. Next step is band replacement. Fingers crossed all goes well with that. I have gain 10 pounds, so I'm eager to get this problem fixed!!!

So after a bunch of tests, I found out my lapband needs to be replaced completely. Going in on the 17th.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had a leak in their Port/Tube? I went to my doctor today, and he realized my band was leaking. I have to go next week for a study to see where it is leaking. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this before, and had it replaced? What was it like? Was recovery anything to be concerned with? I didn't get much info from my doctor today, but figured if anyone here could help me out, that would be great! Jacki

Hi glitz99, I just found out today, that I may have a leaking tube/ port. I have to go for a study to find out where the leak is. I was wondering how was the surgery to repair it? What was recovery like, were you on liquids for a awhile after? Any info you could give me, I would appriciate it. Thanks!

Hello. The last two fills i've had, my Dr. told me my band got really loose. He needed to add 2cc's. He wants to check me again in 3 weeks, to make sure nothing is wrong with my band. Has anyone experienced this??????

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has ever felt nausea after a fill? I got my 2nd fill today, didn't feel it after my first one, but feeling some nausea this time.

Has anyone had a gas pain in their shoulder after a fill? I had my fill about 10 days ago, and am still feeling a gas pain in my shoulder blade. It's similar to when I had surgery, but the pain isn't as bad. Just curious if anyone else has had it.

I have Horizon BC/BS and it took 3 weeks for approval.

Had my first fill yesterday, all went well yesterday but feeling very full and uncomfortable today. Does your body need to re-adjust?

I havnt' been feeling very hungry lately. Is it best to eat anyway to get the calories in, or not eat if your hungry? I've heard both sides?
