Today is my 3rd day post op. With the exception of a little pain here and there I am doing great! HOWEVER,Every time I cough, or at least try to, my threat feels really sore and super raw. Did this happen to anyone else? Also, I developed some blisters on my lip after surgery, is that normal? Coughing is the worst pain I experience, along with the sore throat afterwards

Because I have back problems so it's hard being on my back all the time. When I tried laying on my side I felt the gas pain in my shoulders cone back worse than ever. Any advice on how top get more comfortable without having to be on my back all day?

I just had some strawberry jello and I made it through the cup without freaking out! So happy right now. Later I'm going to have done Greek yogurt.

Today I start my "mushies" I'm really nervous that I'm going to get nauseous from it

I've done a whole bunch of walking today, I was actually really proud of myself :-) i can feel the gas in my stomach and I just want it out already. I'm ready for tomorrow, I can't wait to get up and wall some more.

I had my surgery yesterday and so far the pain hasn't been too bad (minus the awful shoulder pain but that's subsiding) however, I'm starting to get pain on my left side, where I have 3 incisions. Is it the incisions that hurt, or is it gas in my stomach?

Pain in shoulders had gone down significantly, now I feel the gas in my stomach :-( how do I get it out!!

I think it's from the gas or whatever but is there a way to get rid of it faster? It hurts so bad, ice packs help for a while but it comes back worse than before

I did that, maybe I'm just not holding tightly enough.

I was banded yesterday, other than discomfort in my shoulders and some pain when I get up/Lay down I am doing really really great BUT I just tried to cough and it felt like I was being stabbed over and over again. Is there a way top lessen the pain of coughing?

I have been waiting for years to finally start this journey and I am so excited! Yesterday I was in alot of pain, today it's mainly discomfort. Before my pre op diet I was 243, yesterday at the hospital I weighed in at 229! So far so good!
