  1. Oh my gosh Debbie what a wonderful blog. I feel like I was there getting a fill myself. I am not scheduled for my first fill until November 20. My doctor is making me wait 6weeks before I get my first fill. I have wondered many times when I will start feeling full as you described. Thank you for a wonderful blog.
  2. Just a thought do you all think the more weight you have to lose the faster it will come off at the beginning. Also, does anyone remember how long their stomach was swollen. I just feel like it has not gone down that much or am I in a hurry only 3 weeks in.
  3. I am at 3 weeks since being banded and am finding I can eat anything with no problem. Which is a good thing or a bad thing because I feel no constriction. I am trying to eat around 600 to 700 hundred calories but maybe I should up it a little. My first fill is not until Nov 13 so I have a few weeks before I may get some relief.
  4. Me too...I am trying so hard not to eat to fast but since the food seems to go down easily I wind up eating faster than I should.
  5. I was banded on Oct. 3 . I have not had any problems so far. No food problems which in a weird way makes me wish I did. I really do not feel banded. I do get a little full much sooner than I would have before I was banded but not long enough to sustain me for too long. Hoping first fill in November will help that.
  6. I am 9 days post op and feel great as well. I am starting to feel hungry though.
  7. The idea of the Protein shake is a good idea as well. Can I ask you what type of shakes do you drink
  8. Yes they are that sounds filling. I will try it.
  9. Thank you for your information. I will try that.
  10. Okay is my first day of eating mushy foods. I have started to keep a log of what I am eating on My Fitness Pal. I have put in all the food I am planning on eating for today. My calorie count is under 400 calories. Does that seem correct. I am feeling hungry. I am trying to add protein powder in my food to help with trying to get in enough protein.
  11. Gee no one wants to have to take the shots I guess. Well if I had my choice I would wear the socks too!

  13. Day 3 for me. Feeling amazingly well. Of course a little sore but better than I thought I would feel. Not hungry wish it could be like this forever! Seems to be a lot of complaints about gas pains. I certainly had them especially in the shoulder but they seem to be getting better everyday. Question does everyone have to give themselves levonorgestrel injections after their surgery...just wondering. I have to have them for 7 days. They actually taught my husband how to give them to me. I reminded him marriage was for better or for worse!
  14. Feeling really good not a lot of pain. Cannot believe it is over!
  15. At the hospital. Surgery is 2 hours away! Scared and excited
  16. I am with ca't wait to be on the other side. 2 more days for me.
  17. So happy for you PuraVida37
  18. I remember getting my date 2 weeks ago thinking it would never come. My surgery is on October 3 just a few days away!
