  1. I just worry that I will loose from the lower part of my body first. I am going to love when my top and bottom match; I've never been able to purchase anything to wear as a set. I'm sure I'm going to be buying some of those eventually; had a reduction years ago, now I'm gonna have to add after I have this weightloss from my sleeve. Hope mine will just work on coming from the waist area/upper stomach, and all this stuff on my sides/back boobs.
  2. Hello everyone, I have a question, my body shape is considered Apple (I guess they want to be nice; creating all of these fruit shapes) meaning I'm larger on the top than the bottom. Where did most of your weight come off after you were sleeved? I have so much upper body weight that it drives me crazy. Did you lose all over or mostly on top? Talk to me.
  3. It's 4700.00; however if your bmi is > 40 it's another 500.00 (anesthesia fee) oh sorry this is Dr. Fernando Garcia's fee. Some charge more.
  4. Girl, I will admit; I was in tears reading this and wondered at times; why did you put up with it all. You have a good heart and I'm so happy you got a real man now, On the other hand, I experienced some bad thoughts about Josh when he wanted to put his hands on you etc. I really had flashes of slapping the ish out of him. God is Good and He will always bring you through. Josh needs a Bat and lots of Prayers LOL. So happy for you.
  5. Happy that everything went well. Get some rest.
  6. Came back to check to see if you were woke yet. I pray everything went well. Get your rest.
  7. I agree with Yazzy. You're going to do it; just not over night. LOL
  8. Praying that you do well. Keep us posted, are you being sleeved in the States?
  9. Keep it going. Congrats
  10. Praying that your surgery goes well. Speedy recovery. Keep us updated.
  11. I'm in the beginning phase of looking for a surgeon. Another nurse I worked with went to Dr. Alvarez and she told me she went alone and was treated very well. Dr. Alvarez charges 8700.00, however, after searching around the board I'm leaning towards going to Dr. Garcia, I've read good things about him. I feel so nervous about thinking about doing WLS and it's crazy, some days I'm like I can lose this weight on my own; honestly I've tried so many diets they work for a little while and then I'm off of it and the pounds I lost comes back with a vegence. I don't have anyone to go with me; so I'm extremely worried about that. Although, I'm hoping before the time is here I have someone to go with me.
