  1. Had lapband taken out and sleeve done at the same time. Then had a abdominal bleed and had to go back into sx. This was scary but I am home now and it's been slow recovery. Trying to figure out this new tummy of mine and what going to work and not?? Had my first feeling of being full at lunch with some mashed beans. Kind of scared me because I have not felt full yet and now scared I did too much! Also having hard time with drinking water! Not thirsty hate drinking but know its necessary. Any good food ideas for my protein at this stage?

  9. Had band done in 2006 and had problems since day one, I have lost weight but I am having the band removed and a sleeve done out of fear of putting the weight back on. I am 53 and 5 ft tall and now weight 138 after being over 200lbs to start. I am hoping this will keep the weight off without all of the uncomfortable and pain from band?? Any suggestions ???
  10. I have had nothing but trouble and the throwing up and pain at port site. Ready to get removed! I do not think its normal for the port to be this huge knot under my skin. With pain all the time??
  11. You are going to ok, it is so hard to start out. You have to be dedicated to losing weight and a change in life style. Give yourself some time and you will start to feel better. Unfortunately the weight does not disappear over night! U can do this!!
  12. Does anyone's port area hurt and stick out like a golf ball?
