  1. Amen! I feel exactly the same! That is why, I have not told many people. Especially my co-workers.
  2. My goal is the same as yours. I'm on day 8 post op & don't feel like I have much energy. I had another surgery at the same time also. I'm taking it easy & resting. I'm feeling a little better each day though.
  3. Did you return to work? If so, how did it go? I'm off work, however; would like to get back. I have my first post op visit next Tuesday.......
  4. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. Don't beat yourself up. The quote I live by, "you live & learn".....tomorrow is a new day. The most important thing, is that you are feeling good ; )
  5. Congrats! I'm 6 days post op & feeling better each day ; )
  6. Thank you for the info! I was never told this. I'm glad to know this now. Yes, a small sacrifice......
  7. You are correct, they told me today, my port is on the left. I'm going to try a pillow tonight. I feel better that, I'm not the only one who has slept on their side.
  8. I feel the same way, PoohBear22! I'm hungry too! Just watching my family eat everything has been very hard. I have just had Protein shakes & popsicles. This Thursday, I can have yogurt, oatmeal & fudge pops. Bring it on ; ) Hang in there!
  9. I finally got in touch with my doctor's office. They said, I could sleep on either side. I was relieved, because I have been sleeping on my right side.
  10. jfarmer03, I'm praying for you! A 'New chapter' a 'New You' will start tomorrow ; ) I'm so happy for you! Get a good nights sleep. See you on the other side ; )
  11. Day 5 post op. I have been off pain meds since day 2. I have this slight tugging pain under my left breast, (especially when I take a deep breath). I think, it is associated with the repair of my hiatal hernia. Has anyone else experienced this? I tried calling surgeons office, but their 'out to lunch'. How is everyone sleeping? I have been sleeping on my back & sometimes on my right side. No one has told me any different. I hope, I haven't done any damage. I don't even know where my port is...... I'm feeling full most the time. Anyone from the St. Louis area?
  12. CWinkler340 great idea! I gave tried to join the group. However; it won't let me. I'm accessing this app from my I Phone. I hope to figure it out soon ; )
  13. Good Luck going back to work tomorrow, Musical73!! The 'New You' will walk through the doors tomorrow. I can't wait to get back to my daily routine (work). Take Care.
  14. Second day postop. Not hungry. Just sore. I haven't been able to get all my protein in. I can't wait for the pain to subside. The thought of food makes me sick. Weird. I have been moving around.....
