  1. I haven't been back on this site because I felt like I'm a failure. Lost only 66lbs and recently gained back 13Lbs! I've forgotten how to eat a lap band diet! I couldn't handle 3 meals a day, so broke it up to 6 small meals. Big, Big mistake! Who am I fooling! To top it off, more pressure at work and stopped exercising! Ugh! I've fallen so far off the wagon until I can't see it anymore! Please somebody throw me a bone or an eating plan so I can get my head back into the weight lose? Thanks! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App
  2. Ok, thank you! I have heard of Garden of Life. I am returning my purchases to Wal-mart.
  3. OMG! I have the wrong Whey Protein! I just know I do! I have purchased from Walmart, the 60g Premium Protein, Whey Protein Elite Series! Has anybody ever used this product? (Maybe the clue that it is probably the wrong product is the 4 muscular men on the front of the container??) It was suggested by the nutritionist that I get Beneprotein, but I can't find it anywhere. Is this stuff gonna kill me?? I also purchased the Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein. Need desperate help on my protein delimina!
  4. I take the GNC Women's Ultra Mega Chewable vitamin, 2 a day. They are a little costly. The gummy vitamins did not seem to have all that the GNC vitamin offered. Is there something better and a little more price friendly?
  5. Yeah, you always have to watch out because that part I'm is in mouse print!
  6. Thanks! I'm just about all G2'd out, but I must say, that I have been able to catchup on some movies/books that I have had on my wishlist/to do list.

  8. Oh! That's Gatorade G Series - G2! It's suppose to help prevent weakness, dizziness & blurred vision. It has to be included in my 64ozs intake daily.

  10. Thank you! Although its been 4 days, I'm still sore. I suppose it will be a while before that goes away. Today the menu calls for strawberry jello, clear chicken broth, G2, and of course plenty of water. Yummy! :-)

  12. Anybody having a low grade temp? I'm 4 days post op and noticed early this morning I have a small temp of 99.6. Is this normal? Have been following all the rules. Will increase my clear liquids and see if it occurs during the night.

  14. Glad you are feeling much better. Have been definitely moving a little slower. Last night my growling stomach woke me up. Today, however, I am craving gummy bears! Do they make sugar-free gummy bears? I have had chicken broth, plenty of water, G2, a popsicle and diluted apple juice along with my soft chew vitamins. Don't know how to turn the cravings off today.
  15. How are you doing with the gas pains today. I hope you have gotten some relief. Yep, I'm following your advice! I am on my best behavior sitting in my favorite chair. No more going to Wally world! I'm feeling much better today. Just sore. I saw your FB page and I sent you an invitation.
  16. Oh my! I'm glad u r home now. Just take it easy. I must have moved around and walked a little too much today. My belly is aching this evening. Gotta hit the meds again.
  17. Yes, had it yesterday, and so far im feeling just fine. No gas like allot of people were saying. No nausea either, of course I have a patch behind my ear and I am wearing the Reletex wrist band therapy, used for post operative nausea. I had to go to the bank this morning and to Wally world for chewy vitamins, but I was in and right out. (don't know how if forgot them). Walked around outside a bit too. Hope I have not ever done.
  18. Well, Im now banded! I feel like a Mac Truck hit me! Initial pain meds are starting to wear off, so gotta go recharge! Will ttyl!
  19. Good Luck Nanaoftwo, StacyK, Skikyd!
  20. Thank you all! I'm scheduled early in the morning! Just like Skisyd, I also cannot sleep. I'm just having last minute jitters.
  21. Thank you Bandista! (I think you have a pretty neat name too! ) Have been doing relaxation techniques and of course by all means praying. November 5th will be here before you know it! It seemed as if October would never get here, but now that it is, well, all I can say is, "Wow!" I'm feeling just a bit nervous, happy, and a sense of ready to move on to the next part of the lapband process. Thank you for your encouragement, and I will be here to also encourage you as your lapband date gets closer.
  22. The elliptical is a good machine, but think twice if you have knee problems. It seemed to revisit my problems more than often when I had my gym membership. About 3 years ago, I had to choose the NordicTrack T8.0 treadmill and sometimes my poor knees still hurt like mad! The treadmill has offered me more control I must say. I use it 6 times a week, 45 to 60 minutes, with the Ipad connected. So far, no mechanical issues with it. Good Luck with your decision.
