  4. I felt like an 18 wheeler hit me the first couple days post op, but come day 4 i have significantly more energy and the port site is getting less pain so its helping!!! Baby steps and it will pay off
  5. Enjoyed reading all your stories and experiences about getting banded this month. I was banded on 7/23 and as most of you all have experienced the ups and downs. Its day 4 post op and I can honestly say I have improved greatly with the pain...Unable to take the liquid percocet, I have been allowed tylenol pills which I can tolerate thankfully. I was prescribed some zofran for the nausea which is huge because 2nd day post of I got the dry heaves but my doc said not to worry...It's all a learning curve and sure does suck to be on liquids only, but one more week and I can get up to the mashy's!! lol never thought I would be so exicted to have eggs or mashed potatoes!! I look forward to reading more and hopefully talking to people about this!
  6. Congrats on the band! I was also banded in the morning of the 23rd...The last few days I have improved significantly...Last night was the first night I got a full nights sleep without tossing and turning. My port site and incision sites are starting to bruise and feel itchy but I feel that much better. My only problem is with the liquid percocet..It was prescribed for my pain management but I havent had a stomach to get it down..he opted to let me take tylenol pills instead and so far, that with the zofran has made everything tolerable! I hope you get better
