Not yet before I get a date I need my insurance approval. My doctor (whom I love to pieces) was a little slow submitting all my documents. That has slowed down my approval.

Wow Alex! She called and left me a voicemail. She told me in the voicemail that she's in transition from one office to another. Regardless of I was just happy to hear back from her. ALEX THANK YOU!! I don't know what you said or did but I'm forever grateful. I'll update you guys once I actually speak with her.

Quick update called again today and was told that she's also handling another doctors patients. Called my insurance and nothing has been submitted for approval. All I want is for someone to tell me what's going on. I'll be trying again tomorrow.

I am working with Lendita. She handles all of Dr. Schwack's patients.

When I went for my initial consultation they were great. Thanks for letting me know. It did seem like they are kind overwhelmed. I guess I'm just being impatient.

Hello All, As of last week Tuesday my surgeon's office has all my documents. I've tried multiple times to get some help but my coordinator does not return any of my phone calls or emails. I have GHI and I am trying to figure out how long it takes to get my documents approved? Will I be notified by mail or by a phone call? How to go about scheduling my surgery etc. I'm starting to feel like I'm starting to feel ignored. I have GHI, I'm in NYC, and I'm working with the NYC medical center. Any advice you have or can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had my consultation today and you were right I had nothing to worry about. I learned that insurance requirements changed and that I qualify for surgery! My insurance now, only requires a 4 month diet instead of 6. Lastly because I've already started the pre-on diet I've satisfied the pre-op diet requirement. I'm kinda excited but nervous at the same time.

Thank you so much for sharing with me. I'd really like to get my surgery done that I feel like if I say the wrong thing I'll be told no. Have you ever felt that way? MAybe it's just jitters.

How was your experience with them? I had my psychological visit today. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Im in the same boat. My boss can't hold water!! He blabs about everything, he's worse than a girl. I've only told one of the girls at my job and she's been so supportive. It also just happens that she's leaving the job. Also you don't have to share everything, calorie counting is all they need to know. Sharing to much info leads to too many unnecessary opinions.

Hello everyone, I'm considering working with the doctors at NYU. My pcp says that they are the best. I'm just starting my pre-approval 6 month diet. Can anyone offer me some advice on how that process goes? I've been dieting all my life and I'm kind of annoyed with the 6 months pre-approval diet. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
